That’s Amare!

So far there has been no actual footage released of Amare Stoudemire’s infamous attack on the American Airlines Arena’s fire extinguisher, so this footage will have to do. Enjoy this classic Office Space clip of Michael Bolton attacking the printer, but with Amare’s head superimposed on the attacker and a fire extinguisher replacing the printer. Carmelo Anthony and Tyson Chandler also make cameos in this footage trying to restrain the crazed Amare.

There is no more need for the real footage, I am pretty sure this is how the whole incident went down!

As you may figure, once the good folks over at Next Media Animation caught wind of the Amare Stoudemire fire extinguisher punching incident, there would be an awesome video about it.Below is the spoils of their labor:

Amare Stoudemire Bloodies his hand after punching glass

The New York Knicks $100 million man Amare Stoudemire suffered a left hand laceration and left Miami's AmericanAirlines Arena with his left arm in a sling after punching the glass casing of a fire extinguisher.  New York Daily News Knicks beat writer Frank Isola stated that he "can't imagine he [Amare] plays again."  Knicks coach Mike Woodson gave the media...

Report: Tyson Chandler Wins Defensive Player of the Year Award

The Knicks pursued Tyson Chandler for his defensive ability, and it appears their expectations have been fulfilled. Whether New York makes it past Miami in the first round of the playoffs is still in the air, but an Associated Press source reported early Wednesday morning that Tyson Chandler has been named the NBA's Defensive Player of the Year. The official announcement is to...

Tyson Chandler Named NBA Defensive Player Of The Year

New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler was named the NBA Defensive Player Of The Year on Wednesday according to a report from “NBA.com.” Chandler signed with New York as a Free Agent just before the start of the season after helping the Dallas Mavericks win their first NBA Title last June. Chandler was the iron-man of the Knicks front-court this season; as forwards Carmelo Anthony ...

Chandler Beats Out Ibaka, Howard To Win 2012 Defensive POY

Tyson Chandler is the first member of the Knicks to win the Defensive Player of the Year award.

At Least Tyson Chandler Can Laugh About It

For the first time in three years, Brooklyn Nets Orlando Magic center Dwight Howard failed to win the NBA’s Defensive Player of the Year Award, which I am just going to assume he’s blaming on Stan Van Gundy. Instead, this year’s honor went to New York Knicks center Tyson Chandler, because when you think of the Knicks, you think of defense. And that’s the kind of easy joke...

Amar'e says he preseveres through injuries and might be back in Game Four

After punching a fire extinguisher because he was mad that Carmelo took 26 shots and he only took 9 the Heat beat his Knicks 104-94 to take a 2-0 lead in the series, Amar'e Stoudemire is saying he might be able to come back for Game Four. Not Game Three tonight, first of all, where he will have to sit out because he punched a fire extinguisher, but Game Four on Sunday. The reason...

MIAMI- The Heat itched one game closer to getting out of the first round of the NBA Eastern Conference playoffs. Game 2 of their series against the Knicks provided a closer score per se but they were still just as intimidating. NBA Playoffs: How Much Trouble Are The Knicks In?

There is no doubt in my mind that Amar’e Stoudemire is the most frustrated basketball player in the entire NBA. He has battled injuries, the loss of his brother, on-court struggles, and now a hand injury that he busted open last night after New York‘s loss to Miami in the Eastern Conference playoffs. A little over a year ago Stoudemire left The Desert for the Concrete Jungle...

Chandler dunks on Miller : Ginobili misses wide open dunk

Despite having the flu the New York Knicks Tyson Chandler still had enough energy to throw down a monster dunk on the Miami Heat. Off a missed layup Chandler threw down the rebound with one hand. He did this while dunking on the Heat’s Mike Miller. After the play he was given a technical thought I am sure not sure why he received a technical. The Knicks are down 0...

John Lucas III: Bron “took it like he just got shot”

It’s safe to say, that most individuals had judgements on the atrocious flop LeBron James acted out on a Tyson Chandler screen. It was that Oscar worthy performance that garnered Tyson a flagrant foul during Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Round-one Knicks-Heat matchup. My own reaction on twitter “Amare’s braids are more flagrant than that ****.” Here [...]

Short-handed Knicks brace for Heat in New York

Amare Stoudemire and Iman Shumpert are sidelined. Jeremy Lin isn't back yet. The New York Knicks are short-handed, and Carmelo Anthony says he doesn't know where the offense is going to come from in Game 3 of their first-round series against the Miami Heat. ''Nobody never said it was going to be easy,'' Anthony says. And if the Knicks are hoping to get...

Knicks, Stoudemire bound together

Amar'e Stoudemire losing a fight with a fire extinguisher was the latest turn in what's been a really weird season for the New York Knicks.  From their awful start, to "Linsanity", to 'Melo going to hero to villain back to hero (and getting a coach to quit in the process) in approximately 30 days, Gotham didn't seem to have a quiet week all season long...
