Toronto Raptors big man Amir Johnson threw a terrible ceremonial first pitch before a Blue Jays game at the Rogers Centre last month, as it bounced halfway to home plate and skipped past the catcher. Amazingly, video of the debacle did not surface until today.
The sad "Price Is Right" music sums up the first pitch by Johnson perfectly.
Surprisingly, Johnson was given the extremely rare opportunity for a second try to get the ball over home plate. So how did that one go? Well, Johnson wasted that opportunity by deliberately throwing the baseball high up into the seats for a lucky fan to grab.
It could have been worse. At least Johnson didn't break anything.
