Again, no Rondo and no Ray Allen but yet again another inspiring Celtics win. It was a game that was close at times but Boston never really seemed to lose control of this one, leading by as many as 16 points, and defeating the Pacers 94-87. It is the Celtics fourth straight win.
Indiana had tied the game in the third, however 17 points from Paul Pierce in that quarter helped stave off the run and keep the Celtics in the lead. Pierce was the driving force in the Boston victory, totaling 28 points, 10 rebounds, 8 assists, 3 steals, and 2 blocked shots.
Chris Wilcox played probably his best game since arriving in Boston, with 14 points and 6 rebounds. Kevin Garnett added 13 points and 8 rebounds and 2 blocks. Mickael Pietrus added 13 points and 8 boards and Brandon Bass scored 12 points and 6 rebounds.
The Pacers only shot 35% on the night and were led by Danny Granger's 21 points. David West added 14.
