This morning we told you that new Atlanta Hawks Head Coach Mike Budenholzer was arrested on DUI charges and refused a breathalyzer. Now new details have emerged according to myfoxatlanta:
He faces charges concerning alcohol, drugs, âmultiple substancesâ and tail lights installed on a vehicle, according to the Atlanta Municipal Court.
In total, Budenholzer faces the following six charges:
TAILLIGHTS INSTALLED ON VEH
DUI â MULTIPLE SUBSTANCES-MISD (40-6-391.A4)
D.U.I./ALCOHOL & DRUGS (40-6-391.A3)
D.U.I. PERSON CONCENTRATION (40-6-391(A)5)
President of Basketball Operations/General Manager Danny Ferry released the following statement:
âBud made us aware of the situation last night. We are in the process of gathering more information and will have further comment at the appropriate time.â
They got him with the old âI see you have a broken taillight.â What I want to know is, what were the âmultiple substances?â Was he out here popping a Molly? If all of this is true, i would suggest Budenholzer start updating his LinkedIn profile ASAP.
