Found August 12, 2013 on Celtics Life:
It has only been three years since Avery Bradley entered the NBA, but it many ways it seems like much longer. Bradley is only 22 years old, but consider what he has already been through in his basketball career. Bradley was ranked the #1 recruit in the 2009 high school class out of Findlay College Prep high school in Henderson, Nevada, higher ranked than current Wizards point guard (and $80 million man) John Wall. However, once at Texas, Bradley did not play like your typical top-ranked high schooler. He averaged just 11.6 points, 2.9 rebounds and 2.1 assists per game for the Longhorns during his one season in Austin, showing off his defensive acumen (1.4 steals per game) but also struggling to adapt to the college game offensively (shooting just 43% from the field and 55% from the free throw line). The struggles cost him during the 2010 draft. Just one year after being the best freshmen prospect in the country, Bradley slipped to the Celtics who selected him with the 19th pick ...

Your Morning Dump..Where Rondo Could Miss The First Month

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump. That said, here’s my “potential” – there’s that word again – starting five this year. Point guard: Phil Pressey (I expect Rondo to miss the first month of the season) Shooting guard: Avery Bradley...

Rajon Rondo at Waffle House

Yeah, it's August and there's not much Celtics news to talk about, so when a picture of Rajon Rondo at Waffle House pops up on the internet, it becomes blog worthy.  The original tweet mentions Rondo's car (a Bentley) appearing out of place at the diner chain's Franklin, Indiana location.  But with about 30 seconds of investigating I think I've come up with...

SQ13#51 & #52—Questions or Quandaries-The Center of Controversy

This weekend, no answers, just questions. 1. Is there an NBA center on the Celtics roster? 2. Who will start at center? 3. Who will play at center? 4. Is the primary center for the 2013-4 Celtics on the roster yet? 5. Will the Celtics just go with two power forwards this year? Or until at least midseason? 6. Is this all just part of the master...

No more "National TV Rondo"

Last week the Celtics 2013-2014 schedule was released, and along with that came the announcement of which NBA games will be televised nationwide.  Over the past six years of the "New Big 3" era, C's fans have gotten used to regularly seeing our men in green on ABC, ESPN, and TNT.  Now that all three are gone, the networks have come to the conclusion that Boston is...

The hardest part thus far about his recent trade away from the city that he played in for 15 years,  is facing the children...

Eagles coach Chip Kelly says Rondo is his perfect QB

Rajon Rondo’s football prowess is back in the spotlight because Grantland dug-up a quote from Eagles head coach Chip Kelly: Although not all the Eagles quarterbacks are fleet-footed, whoever ends up the starter will be required to make quick decisions and efficiently distribute the ball to a variety of weapons; in a reply to a question from ESPN’s Todd McShay about who would...

Will anyone break John Havlicek’s scoring record?

John Havlicek spent 15 years in Boston Celtics uniform.  Over those 15 years, he played in 1270 regular season games, scoring 26,395 points, more than anyone else in team history. Only two men have been serious challengers to that crown.  Larry Bird spent most of the 80′s tearing up that list.  In fact, Bird has three of the top five single season scoring averages in Celtics...

ESPN kicked off its annual Summer Forecast series this week, in which a panel of experts predicts every facet of the upcoming NBA season. Their first order of business, appropriately, was their expected win total and final ranking for each team in the Eastern Conference. Boston Celtics fans hoping for another season of playoff basketball will be displeased by the 215-member panel...

Kris Humphries Ex-GF Releases Sex Tape Photos

12► We reported a couple of weeks ago that Kris Humphries Ex-Girlfriend Myla Sinanaj was going to shoot a porn movie, in the hopes of becoming the next Kim Kardashian.
