How many Knicks remain? 4-3=1 The New York Knicks waived Kelenna Azubuike, while on the opposite coast, the Los Angeles Clippers waived Rasual Butler. The Knicks got Azubuike in the David Lee sign-and-trade with the Golden State Warriors in the offseason, but he never donned the blue and orange, spending the entire season recovering from knee surgery. New York will likely look to add Jared Jeffries with the available roster spot. The Clippers were hardly throwing Butler onto the court, and decided to part ways. Butler’s playing time was minimal in the days leading up to the All-Star break, and after acquiring Jamario Moon in the Baron Davis/Mo Williams deal, was classified a piece that was no longer needed in Clipperland.
