The Boston Celtics beat the Sacramento Kings 99-81
CelticsLife Game Recap
I grade on a curve!
Kevin Garnett: 13 Points, 9 Rebounds, 5 Assists
KG did an excellent job tonight. He scored efficiently, he moved the ball around, and rebounded well. His defense was good, especially against the Sacramento bigs. Great game from Garnett in limited minutes.
Incomplete due to leaving the game early because of his back.
Paul Pierce: 16 Points, 10 Rebounds
Pierce had a great energy tonight, and played an all-around game. He attacked the boards, and finally scored efficiently. He didn't do very well as a facilitator tonight, but it is hard to see anything wrong he did tonight.
Avery Bradley: 11 Points, 5 Rebounds
Avery was a bit more aggressive looking for his shot tonight, which was good to see despite missing a few. He produced a bit more in the boxscore and played his usual tough defense, which made it a bit easier...

This crew will always bleed green!
We all know what has happened to the Celtics in the last week and yes it does suck(sorry for the language Mom). However, that is no reason to give up on this team. Celtics Nation has been spoiled these last 5 years. Sure, we've only won one title, but we are a contender every year which is more than 99% of sports teams can say.
The Boston Celtics won their third-straight game without Rajon Rondo on the floor. With a 97-84 trouncing of the Orlando Magic, Boston is back at .500. Their 23-23 record has them holding tight for the eight-seed in the Eastern Conference. The Magic fans seem fairly reserved to their fate as a cellar team in the East right now, and could definitely use some sort of pick-me-up.
Interesting tidbit from ESPN's Ric Bucher on a potential hold-up in any deal the Celtics try to draw up involving Kevin Garnett, as Bucher has spoken with two NBA GM's who do not think KG will finish out his current contract before retiring. From Bucher's Sulia post:
I keep being asked about deals involving Kevin Garnett going somewhere. Hard to imagine that happening...
The Celtics won big on Friday, trampling the Magic 97-84.
During the fourth quarter of the game Jeff Green did what Jeff Green does, putting home a monster dunk to the delight of the TD Garden crowd. The slam put the Celtics up by 21 at that point, en route to the teamâs third consecutive win without point guard Rajon Rondo, and first without rookie wonder Jared Sullinger.
Depleted as the Celtics currently are they still have enough in their tank to demolish an equally-depleted Magic squad tonight, 97-84. Â One of the heroes of tonight's contest was Jeff Green who was absolutely electric with three (or was it four?) emphatic slams en route to registering 17 points, 4 boards, 4 dimes and 3 blocks in 29 minutes off the bench. Â And I like how he...
Kevin Garnett, Paul Pierce, Doc Rivers, and Leandro Barbosa check in from Tuesday's Celtics practice.

Kevin Garnett is at it again and, yes, his opinion is being heard loud and clear.
On Wednesday, Celtics rookie Jared Sullinger learned that he wasnât going to be a part of All-Star weekend this year, and after Wednesdayâs game, Garnett had something to say about it.
âReally? Iâm actually shocked,â Garnett told reporters. âIt doesnât surprise me. ⌠This league has...
Last night, the Celtics did what we have been expecting them to do against bad teams; they were able to maintain a double digit lead going into the fourth quarter. Â It was a thing of beauty(mostly); The Jet looked like a naval aircraft taking off the flight deck and Jeff Green somehow seemed like he finally found his moxie and Leandro Barbosa finally got the minutes he deserved...
The Celtics win easy going away 97-84 against the Orlando Magic. Paul Pierce had 14 points on 5-10 shooting with 11 rebounds and 7 assist. Jeff Green had 17 points with 3 blocks coming off the bench. The Celtics are on a 3 game winning streak without Rondo, lets hope we can keep this going through out the season.

A torn ACL is a death sentence to any athlete. When a star in the league suffers that gruesome injury, all you can do is feel for them. It is a helpless feeling being that player, especially when they believe it is only a minor injury. That was the case for Celtics point guard Rajon Rondo, after he thought he had only hyperextended his knee during Bostonâs double overtime loss...
Paul Pierce and Kevin Garnett each had a double-double, and the Boston Celtics responded to yet another blow to their lineup with a 97-84 win Friday night over the Orlando Magic, who lost their eighth straight game.
Pierce had 14 points, 11 rebounds and seven assists despite sitting out the fourth quarter. Garnett finished with 14 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, who learned...
The Houston Rockets blow out the Utah Jazz by 45 points but all anyone was talking about after the game was the dunk by the Rockets James Harden. Just before halftime Harden beat his man off the dribble and went to the rim and dunked over Alec Burks. Harden finished the game with 25 points, 3 rebounds, and 3 assists.
On Sunday the Boston Celtics beat the defending champs in double...
8 a.m. ET: So far, so good for the Celtics without their All-Star point guard. They are 2-0 since Rajon Rondo went down for the season with a torn ACL in his right knee, although just 1-0 since they actually learned of the injury. (Aside from Doc Rivers and a few people on the medical staff, nobody knew of Rondoâs diagnosis until after Sundayâs win over the Heat.)

The Celtics rode a monster second quarter in which they outscored the Kings by 23 to coast to an easy win over the still-in-Sacramento Kings.  The Celtics did exactly what they needed to do without Rajon Rondo⌠get defensive stops, push the tempo, and get to the rim.  The Celtics had lulls for the second part of the first quarter and pretty much all of the fourth quarter, but...
