Want to blog for Celtics 17? Learn more!CelticsBlog: Ainge made numerous offers to Memphis.(Via CelticsBlog) @RicBucher I heard David Aldridge said Rasheed is only going to pick between the Magic and Spurs. Is this true, what have you heard? @ClevelandOwnz Those are top two. Heard Dal and Hou also called. Cle is not in mix. KG is calling, but Sheed won't do Boston. -- Ric Bucher's Twitter Insight: At the moment, I don't really care about where Sheed wants and doesn't want to go. What I care about is the fact that KG is CALLING Wallace to coax him to come to Boston! Does KG really feel that the Celtics need him that much? What about Chris Andersen? Or Brandon Bass? Those two guys can play well off the bench or in the starting line-up if injuries allow them to, but they also fit well in any locker room. Sheed has had trouble in the past when in the clubhouse, and as if it hasn't been made obvious enough yet, that's something we don't need in Boston. Even more so now after we've learned that Rondo may have some difficulties getting along with the Celtics coaching staff and front office.Plus, it's not like the offseason is over. The free agent market frenzy hasn't even begun, and we have PLENTY of time to trade guys in exchange for players that fulfill the team necessities. Although I doubt he'll be going anywhere now after the NBA Draft, I would advise Celtics fans to not assume that Rondo isn't gone. Ainge may have something going that he couldn't put together by the Draft's end, which prompted us to think that Rondo will still be a Boston Celtic by the start of next season. And even though it's quiet right now, DA (Ainge) and co. may feel that they can trade Ray Allen and get numerous solid players in return.Hopefully, the Celtics will just make some minor tweaks to the team and -- as if I haven't implanted this idea in your brain already -- fill some of the roster spots by adding low-risk, high-reward type of guys.
