The Milwaukee Bucks got some good news yesterday and some bad news.  They got Luc Mbah a Moute off the bench, but they lost Mike Dunleavy.  The Bucks, who have battled injuries as much as any other team in the league this season, will have a thin bench, but Mbah a Moute will be available going forward.According to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, coach Scott Skiles said before last night's game that Mbah a Moute would be available.  Mbah a Moute got into the game and was immediately effective.  As for Dunleavy, Gardner said coach Skiles said Dunleavy was still in some pain. "It was really sore after the game the other night (in New Orleans)," Skiles said. "He went out (before the game) and tried to loosen it up. He's just having a hard time planting and cutting. He's out."The Bucks have struggled this season.  They are 8-9 on the season after their loss to the San Antonio Spurs last night.  Injuries haven't helped, and the loss of Dunleavy will hurt.  Dunleavy is averaging 10.8 points per game and 5.1 rebounds per game.  In his career, he has averaged 12.1 points per game. Mbah a Moute is averaging 7.5 points per game this season.  His presence off the bench will help Milwaukee, but the team is still thin. Bucks Wednesday: Sanders to start vs. Spurs

As coach Scott Skiles continues to try to find a lineup that works, the Milwaukee Bucks' starting five is changing again. Larry Sanders will make his first start of the season Wednesday against San Antonio, with rookie John Henson returning to the bench. It will be Sanders' first start since his rookie season, when he started 12 times. Sanders recorded his first career triple...

Bucks, Bobcats looking to bust slumps

Playing the team with the Eastern Conference's longest losing streak might be just what the Milwaukee Bucks need to break out of their recent funk. The slumping Bucks will try to avoid losing for the eighth time in 10 games Friday night when they host the Charlotte Bobcats, who have dropped eight straight in Milwaukee. After a 6-2 start, the Bucks (8-9) fell under .500 for...

Q&A with Bucks' Brandon Jennings: Spurs are a clique

After the San Antonio Spurs' recent win over the Milwaukee Bucks, I had a chance to speak with Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings. Jennings, who finished with 14 points and four assists in 38 minutes of action versus the Spurs, spoke on San Antonio and what it takes to play against them to have a shot at winning, his thoughts on the controversial photo with Tim Duncan and...

Matchup of the Game: Spurs vs. Bucks

San Antonio Spurs vs. Milwaukee Bucks matchup of the game comes down to point guards Tony Parker vs. Brandon Jennings In one game of the lock out shortened season, both guards played well when both were on the court together. Not surprising, both shot well from the restricted area (Parker: 4-4, Jennings: 2-2). In the mid court game, Jennings got the better of Parker with...

5 things to watch: Spurs vs. Bucks

The San Antonio Spurs (14-4) return to the court as they host the Milwaukee Bucks (8-8) tonight at the AT&T Center. This will be the Bucks only visit to the Alamo City. The Spurs are coming off a 105-100 overtime win over the Grizzlies at home where the Spurs came back by 14 in the fourth quarter and forced overtime. Tony Parker led the Spurs with 30 points and 6 assists...

Skiles Comments On Spurs' "Restgate"

So far this season when an opposing team plays the San Antonio Spurs, their head coach is going to ask to comment on Gregg Popovich's decision to rest his stars. The responses from the coaching community has been siding with Pop and add Milwaukee Bucks head coach Scott Skiles. When he was discussing bench players taking advantage of extra minutes when a guy is injured, he...

Bucks Fade in 4th and Lose to Spurs

The Milwaukee Bucks lost to the San Antonio Spurs by a final score of 110-99. The game was tied going into the 4th, but then Sanders Show got called for a goaltend early in the 4th, Skiles got himself T’d up arguing the call, and the Spurs (reserves) pulled away. The game was literally over within two minutes of that call. I think the only commentary McGlocklin offered in the...

Bucks fail to take advantage of start vs. Spurs

The San Antonio Spurs certainly know when it is go-time. The best fourth quarter team in the NBA did it again Wednesday night, with the Bucks becoming their latest victim. San Antonio used the third quarter to erase a six-point Bucks halftime lead, and then it blitzed the Bucks in the fourth quarter, turning a tie game into a 17-point lead before holding on for a 110-99 victory...

Bucks right ship versus struggling Bobcats

MILWAUKEE -- Already letting one game against the Bobcats slip through their hands this season, the Milwaukee Bucks weren't going to let it happen again. In a battle of two teams that badly needed a victory, the Bucks dominated from start to finish, taking care of business against a Charlotte team that has come crashing down to Earth after a 7-5 start. Milwaukee entered losers...
