MILWAUKEE -- Monta Ellis and Ekpe Udoh are going to give it a try Wednesday night against Indiana. Both missed practice Tuesday and didn't participate in Milwaukee's shootaround Wednesday. Bucks coach Scott Skiles saw both as questionable, but both told him they wanted to play. Ellis injured his thumb in Monday's victory over Philadelphia. The swelling was so great Tuesday that he couldn't practice. It has gone down a bit Wednesday but is still noticeable.Because Udoh is going to give it a go, veteran forward Drew Gooden remains inactive. Other than the injured Luc Richard Mbah a Moute, Gooden is the only player on the roster to not play in the team's first six games. He has been inactive since rookie forward John Henson returned from a knee injury. "I talked to him," Skiles said of Gooden. "That's all we can do, he and I talk about it. I told him there's no permanence to it or anything. It's just a decision I've went with now, it i...

Bucks send early message with Pacers rout

MILWAUKEE -- Ekpe Udoh let it be known as he came through the Milwaukee Bucks locker room."It's a great day to be a Milwaukee Buck." He'd be hard pressed to find someone who disagrees, at least for one night. Milwaukee sensed a struggling opponent and buried them, leading by as many as 32 points to move to 5-2 on the young season. "That's something coach...

Bucks Tuesday: Skiles aims to stockpile wins

ST. FRANCIS, WIS.- The Bucks are 4-2. So far, so good, right?Well, yes, but Milwaukee sees an opportunity for more. Milwaukee has only been 7-2 or better through nine games twice since 1983. With the Danny Granger-less Indiana Pacers...

The Indiana Pacers had no problem putting the ball in the basket last season against the Milwaukee Bucks, but that was with Danny Granger in the lineup. They could sure use him there now. Bucks score wire-to-wire win over Pacers

MILWAUKEE -- Jumping out to an early lead wasn't a problem for the Milwaukee Bucks last season. Holding on to those leads was another story.
