After suffering from a bruise in his right arm just a few days ago, Carmelo Anthony's status on whether or not he would be able to participate in the All-Star Game was uncertain. However, Frank Isola of the New York Daily News tweeted that he would indeed be able to play, which resulted in a collective sigh of relief for both Knicks fans, Carmelo fans and those rooting for the...
Just five weeks ago, Carmelo Anthony hated Kevin Garnett. We all know the story; Anthony and Garnett were going at it in a tightly contested game back on Jan. 8. It got chippy and the two started jawing and before long, Garnett went below the belt like he normally does and allegedly said that Anthony’s wife “tastes like Honey Nut Cheerios.”
Now I’m not married but if...
It seems the issues between Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony have been resolved.
The two Eastern Conference All-Stars teamed up to make fun of TNT announcer Craig Sager‘s turquoise suit. Sager asked Anthony about the spat between the Knick and Celtic at practice, and Anthony pulled Garnett over to help him answer the question.
“Honey Nut Cheerios” were not mentioned, but Garnett...
Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony have seem to resolve the little spat they had earlier in the year, and have since united for a greater cause: clowning Craig Sager’s awful suit.
Nice to see the two getting along again, and gotta love the comeback Sager threw back at KG.
All turquoise errthing
NBA All Star proved once again that the weekend is all about fun. One of the highlights during this years game came during a stoppage of play. The Toyota Center played a video featuring Blake Griffin, Carmelo Anthony, James Harden, Jrue Holiday and Dwayne Wade. They took turns singing “Call Me Maybe”, “You Da One”, “Take Care” and “Someone Like You”. So which...
Honey Nut Cheerios took on a whole new meaning this year after an on court altercation between Knicks Carmelo Anthony and Celtics Kevin Garnett continued into the locker room and halls of Madison Square Garden. Melo said he and KG spoke on the phone a short time after and squashed the beef but the question lingered, are they really “cool.”
Apparently so, the two are teammates...
They may be downright enemies on the basketball court but Carmelo Anthony & Kevin Garnett hashed it out for All-Star weekend and teamed up to clown Craig Sager and his fashion choices during the East’s practice on Saturday:
Tweet Just when you thought the Kevin Garnett Cheerios comments thing was dead and in the past Craig Sager was there to bring it up again at Saturday’s All-Star practice. The subject quickly changed from whether or not everything is cool between KG and Melo to Craig Sager’s Caribbean water colored jacket and hilarity [...]
The New York Knicks’ disappointing, ugly loss last week to the Toronto Raptors is living proof of how things have changed around this franchise. The fact that I used the terms “disappointing” and “ugly” show the shift; in past years the narrative following that loss would have been “expected letdown” or “typical” or “can we fire D’Antoni already?”.
And so, the Honey-Nut Cheerios saga continues. During a Craig Sager All-Star interview, tensions were high as Kevin Garnett and Carmelo Anthony butted heads once again.
Leave it to Sager's flamboyant suits to unite former enemies...

Apparently ganging up on Craig Sager with Carmelo Anthony Saturday at All-Star practice wasn’t enough. In a sideline interview with Sager during the All-Star game Sunday, KG clowned the TNT reporter’s attire (photos) again:
“Stop wearing stuff like this when you’re doing real interviews. Straight up. You look like a Christmas ornament.” – Kevin Garnett to Craig Sager
Now that the 2013 All-Star weekend is in the books and the second half of the NBA season is starting up it is time for a deeper look into what has made the Knicks so successful and where potential improvements could be made. There is little doubt that the road to the playoffs will pass through Miami and if the Knicks are to take down the Heat in a seven game series they will need...
