I hope Dwight Howard is paying attention.
A few weeks ago we reported that Cleveland Cavaliers power forward Tristan Thompson, was making a historical move by going from a lefty to righty shooter, in an attempt to improve his overall offensive game.
Well, according to a story by Yahoo! Sports via Michael Grange of Sportsnet, early indications are that Thompson’s free-throw shooting percentage has improved significantly, as he competes for Canada in exhibition games and at the FIBA Tournament of the Americas.
Update: Tristan Thompson is now 29/37 (78%) FTs right-handed over nine games. Was 58% career as a lefty.

If Thompson’s shooting percentage continues to improve, you may see all of the NBA’s efficiently-challenged shooters following suit.

One of the more peculiar developments of the NBA offseason has been the switch of Cavaliers forward Tristan Thompson to become a right-handed shooter. Previously, the fellow Brampton, Ontario, native as No. 1 overall pick Anthony Bennett also shot with his left hand. Not anymore, as we’ve learned last month.
Sunday afternoon, Rogers Sportsnet’s Michael Grange lit up the NBA world...
The Plain Dealer reports bat cave Andrew Bynum has been training in Cleveland “nearly every day since he signed” with the Cavaliers on July 10. Agreeing to a two-year pact that could be worth $24 million, the 25-year-old Bynum didn’t step onto the hardwood once as a Philadelphia 76er last season due to a potentially degenerative knee condition. Although only $6 million of the...
With some key additions to add depth to a team that had the Miami Heat in a Game 7, the Indiana Pacers are revamping for another chance at facing LeBron & Co. in Game 7 of the Eastern Conference Finals.
After acquiring Luis Scola, Chris Copeland, and C.J. Watson this summer, the Pacers are heating up along with the rest of the revamped Central Division. And like the East Central...
I’m coming. I just feel as though I’m next up as far as shooting guards. If you look around, you know, Kobe [Bryant] and [Dwyane] Wade and those guys, they paved the way for a player like me and they’re almost done. It’s not like that, but I’m just saying, I’m coming. I just want everybody to know that. [...] Without a doubt, I really believe that [I’ll eventually...
Since signing with the Cleveland Cavaliers earlier this offseason, Andrew Bynum has been working out at the team’s facilities “nearly every day,” according to Mary Schmitt Boyer of The Plain Dealer. In responding to readers, Schmitt Boyer said that Bynum has been working hard to return to his previous form this summer.Bynum has been working out here nearly every day since...

Andrew Bynum moved to Cleveland a week after his introductory press conference with the Cavaliers and has been training in the team's practice facility.
While Bynum believes his rehabilitation from knee issues has gone well, he is not fully sure of a return schedule and is focusing only on improving his health and game.
"It's a fluid process,'' Bynum said. "...
NBA ballers love their Givenchy shirts don’t they? A few weeks ago I did a post on Lebron James (Miami Heat) and Tristan Thompson (Cleveland Cavaliers) wearing the same $592 Givenchy Twin Doberman Print T-shirt, now we can add Chris Paul to the mix. Chris recently posted a photo on Instagram wearing the exact same shirt. This bold plaid patterned shirt seems to be a favorite at...
When Dwight Howard was traded to the Los Angeles Lakers, there was thought that it would propel the team to the top of the Western Conference. Instead, it was a disappointing season for Howard, Kobe Bryant and the Lakers. Now, Howard is with the Houston Rockets while Bryant is recovering from an Achilles injury. In a recent interview with ESPN Los Angeles, former teammate of Howard...
Although I’m tired of hearing about it, one of the great things about people talking about the Los Angeles Lakers last season is the honesty that has been shared since the season finally ended. New Clippers forward Antwan Jamison was a Laker last season so it’s interesting to hear the perspective of someone who was actually in that locker room.
While talking with ESPN, Jamison...
