The Celtics pushed their winning streak to 6, holding off Tim D..., I mean DeJuan Blair, and the Spurs, 90-83. Actually, Tim Duncan had a pretty solid game, going for 16 points and 15 rebounds. But it was Blair who gave the Celtics a bit of a scare, going for 18 points and 11 rebounds in just 21 minutes. Blair was part of the Spurs unit that cut the Celtics double-digit lead down to just 4 with less than 2 minutes remaining. But it was Rajon Rondo's strip and deflection off of Tony Parker that stopped San Antonio's momentum, and helped seal the deal for the C's. Rondo went for 12 assists and 12 points, including a key jump shot with under 2 minutes to go. KG continued his ascension back to dominance, going for 20 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists, 2 steals, and stellar defense throughout. I have to give props to Brian Scalabrine for some great hustle, and for nailing a key shot as the shot clock expired late in the 4th. Paul Pierce was mostly silent tonight, but when your best player can score only 8 points on the road in San Antonio, and you win, then who the hell cares? The winning streak is at 6, with the Thunder up next tomorrow night.
