Ahh, feels good to finally exhale right? As some of the worst basketball in the Garnett era was played over the last four games, the Celtics were able to get back to their roots of putting on the hard hat and grinding out the win. There was a Gino sighting tonight, although Garnett was unfortunately not around to see it.I think Kevin Garnett summarized Boston’s attitude with a very audible “I’ll take this motherf****r” in the first half after Ian Mahinmi subbed in to defend the Big Ticket. He later received a flagrant 2 and was ejected in the fourth quarter, but even the shakiness of the call itself couldn’t wipe the smile off my face: Boston was the bully in this game.Boston showed up to play, with solid defense against a offensively starved Pacers team whose primary option is David West in the post or Paul George along the perimeter, both of whom under performed combining for 19 points on 8-36 shooting.Avery Bradley, thank the lord, is playing his signature harassing defense an...

The Celtics will shrug their shoulders over the flagrant foul called against Kevin Garnett in Friday night’s win over the Pacers. They won, after all, whether Garnett was trying to teach Tyler Hansbrough‘s face a lesson or not. But Hansbrough wasn’t too thrilled with the forearm to his snout, going so far as to reopen the discussion of whether the tough and scrappy Garnett...
Kevin Garnett was ejected with more than eight minutes remaining in Boston's victory over Indiana on Friday night after committing a Flagrant 2 on Tyler Hansbrough.
While most of the sporting eyes are focused on the NFL playoffs, Boston Celtics forward Kevin Garnett decided to show off his diving ability during tonight's Celtics/Pacers game.Watch as KG tracks down the loose ball off of a block of Indiana's David West and leaps into the first row of fans to make the save: Kudos to Kevin for jogging it out....
At first glance, this video is really nothing to get all that excited about. The Boston Celtics are leading the game by fifteen points. A ball is flying out of bounds and Kevin Garnett in all his KG-ness decides to give a little bit extra effort to save the ball, although an argument can be made that this is the best part of the video because he’s about 67.5 years old and he is...
KG was ejected in the 4th quarter of Friday night’s game at TD Garden after a Flagrant Foul was called for hitting Pacers’ Tyler Hansbrough.
BOSTON — Doc Rivers sensed the game going downhill fast, with his own physical Celtics team matched up against an equally hard-nosed Pacers squad. Things were getting so chippy, Rivers sent Brandon Bass to the scorer’s table to replace Kevin Garnett before something bad happened.
Rivers turned out to be a beat too late.
With Bass waiting to substitute, Garnett was slapped with...

The Celtics, the frustrating Boston Celtics, finally won a game last night when they blew out the Pacers, 94-75. They dominated to the point where they could jog for the last few minutes. There were plenty of stats...
Rajon Rondo led the Celtics to a 94-75 win over the Pacers
Kevin Garnett: KG bounced back from a slightly poor game by dominating an overmatched Pacers frontcourt. He put up a typical 36-year old Garnett statline: 18 points on 50% shooting, with 7 rebounds and excellent defense. You cannot ask for much more. Also he set the tone physically, and...
