Ray Allen is just getting over the 5 stitches he received courtesy of a Kendrick Perkins elbow during a walk through of some of the plays. Now, today we have 2 more reports from practice that indicate just how tough they go at each other in practice.
First, from the Globe, Paul Pierce got up close and personal with Scal's elbow.
Celtics' captain Paul Pierce sustained a cut on his right cheek, thanks to a Brian Scalabrine elbow, during a Thursday afternoon practice session. Pierce finished the 1 1/2-hour session with a bandage on his face.Second, from JR Giddens on Twitter, Perk was at it again.
man got elbowd by perk today i have a scottie pippen playoff knot on my head grrrrMaybe it's a good thing they haven't had much practice time. Seems like they are rougher on each other than their opponents are.
