Sean Grande, aka the radio voice of the Boston Celtics, just tweeted this breaking news:
Here it is: Jason Terry and Brandon Bass move into the starting lineup for the Celtics tonight, replacing Courtney Lee and Jared Sullinger.

I like it. Shake things up a bit, and bring Jet and Bass’ offense back to the starting lineup for...
Okay. There is quite a bit more to this story but I love when Rajon Rondo talks trash, especially agains The Boston Celtics point guard sat down with Mut and Merloni of WEEI and discussed a variety of topics. Rondo talked about the Celtics slow start and the new guys getting acclimated. Rondo also discusses his [...]
BOSTON — The year before Kevin Garnett came to Boston, he logged nearly 40 minutes per night for the Minnesota Timberwolves, purely out of necessity. That Wolves squad was so thin that the infamous Mark Blount was the third-leading scorer, and nobody other than Garnett grabbed more than five rebounds or blocked more than one shot a night.
That was seven years ago.

The NBA posted a player profile video on Paul Pierce today, where "The Truth" talks about a range of topics including his favorite all-time NBA play, what it's like being coached by Doc Rivers, and his favorite moment of his NBA career.
When asked who the toughest player in the league is to guard, Pierce said that it was a toss-up between LeBron James and Carmelo Anthony...
Celtics locker room attendant warned the players to be careful driving home in the storm tonight. Darko responds: "I'm doing 90 tonight."
— Ben Rohrbach (@brohrbach) November 8, 2012
I've been wondering why we haven't seen much Darko so far in the season. He played just 5 minutes in one game. He played very well in the preseason and was rebounding well...
As a die hard fan and Boston Celtics season ticket holder, I’m very interested in Rajon Rondo’s streak of consecutive games with 10 or more assists, which now stands at 29 (tied for 3rd longest in NBA history). While sitting in the Garden Wednesday night and paying very close attention to Rondo’s assist count, I had an epiphany of sorts.
There were at least 3 or 4 plays...

Another game, more complaints about the refs. Since every single fan base complains about calls, including the Celtics, I can only conclude that the refs are terrible all the way around. The usual talk about Pierce being a drama queen and the Celtics illegal screens. Enjoy today's Comments from the Other Side...

The Celtics trail the 76ers at the half 57-45 as the Sixers perimeter players combined for 34 points with 8 assists for Jrue Holiday. Spencer Hawes had some nice second chance baskets late in the second quarter and shut KG out of the paint for most of the half. Despite his legendary headband-mullter combination, Hawes [...]

MILWAUKEE, Wis. -- It's been a rough start for the Boston Celtics. They came to Milwaukee on Saturday night looking to recover from a tough loss at home the night before to Philadelphia, and also to avenge a season-opening blowout, also at home, to the Bucks. And while it may not have been pretty, the Celtics' 96-92 victory could go a long way towards helping a team with...
Celtics vs. 76ers
November 10, 1979
It’s fair to say Larry Bird never saw anyone quite like Julius Erving during his time at Indiana State.
Undaunted by the one of the most premiere players in the league, Bird and the Celtics entered Philadelphia intending to make a statement that they were the best team in the East. The 76ers, however, were not overly impressed...
