Celtics lose to Portland. Now in 3 way loss tie..

The Portland Trail Blazers are a good team, especially with Roy. But once I found out that he wasn't going to play, I was confident in the C's being able to play a great game. But, I was once again dissapointed by my C's, who have dropped to 5 losses now. Now we're in a three way tie for losses with the Cavs, (the only team that scares me), and the Lakers. We dropped to a record of 1-3 in this West Coast trip. I have no idea what has been going on in the C's this trip.

In all 3 losses, we had some type of lead, and then let it dwindle down and end up losing. There was always that one quarter where the lead disappered.

That win against the Kings made me feel so much better, and made me think that we were back to normal, but tonight, I have no idea what to say.

Pierce did a great job in this game. Getting to the post and getting those fouls and baskets when we needed it. Two times that the C's could have taken the lead in the finals two minutes, KG both times, TO'ed the ball. And we lost our chances.

The funny part of the game, to lighten up my anger with the team right now, was when the Blazers had 6 men on court, and scored a basket and the refs counted it, and blamed us for not telling the them before hand of the 6 guys on court. KG went crazy and complained and the refs didnt take those two points away. I am thinking now, that those two points scored during the 6 men on court could have decided the game later on during the finals seconds??? What do you guys think??

Doc said that in a game that we lost by 4, those two points could have meant a WHOLE lot. People made the excuse that "this is the NBA, stuff happens". But I think that is a unfair excuse for the refs counting that basket with the 6 men on the court. I noticed, after rewinding back to that play, that ever since that last play, the C's attitude in the game seemed to have disappeared. As if the refs not taking away the basket and giving the Blazers those extra two points, took away their hopes into wanting to play harder.

Im not trying to make excuses, but in a close game, TWO points is a lot!!!

Anyways, im disappointed we went 1-3 on this West Coast road trip. I was hoping for a 2-2. Hopefully coming back home, we can do better. We need to execute and focus. Seems like there is something on their minds, and bothering the team.

Doc also needs to do better with the choices he makes into who he puts on the court. I noticed the rebounding was horrible, and the guys on the Blazers were much much taller, (not making excuses). They also were much much more physical than we were. Which should never happen with our D.

It started out to be a nice game, but as usual, the C's let their lead go away, and we lose. And we are now 28-5.

Should I panick? Or is this 1-3 road trip nothing to worry about?
