Celtics Sign Giddens

Yesterday, the Boston Celtics signed their first-round pick, Mr. J.R. Giddens out of the University of New Mexico. Giddens is listed at 6'5", 215 and was the Mountain Conference Co-Player of the Year last season, averaging over 16 points and close to 9 rebounds per game. He comes with his share of potential character issues and question marks, but could find himself on the court frequently this season, playing the role of defensive stopper.....
