We have our first “upset” of this year’s Madness. Former Celtic (have to get used to saying that) Ray Allen’s AJ XIII away p.e.’s were crushed by Rondo’s Huaraches. Now obviously I know much of Rondo’s votes may have come after Ray decided to jet for Miami, but the fans have spoken. Rondo’s Nike Huarache bball 2012 received 63% of your votes to move on to the next round. Here are your next two pairs…
5) Rajon Rondo Nike Huarache 24K Celtics p.e.
Here are another pair of Nike’s Huarache bball kicks. This time, we have the “2K4″ edition in a Celtics colorway. These are a player edition only and were made just for Rondo. They feature a synthetic leather upper with ankle strap & a Nike “Zoom” unit in the heel.
28) Paul Pierce Nike Air Legacy 3 Xmas p.e.
Paul broke these out later in the season as he was injured on Xmas. They are his signature shoe, the Nike Air Legacy III, in a Christmas colorway. They are Celtic green in color w/white accents and a red swoosh.
BEST OF MAXIM
AROUND THE WEB
With baseball at the All Star break, basketball and hockey in our rear view mirrors, and football around the corner, we find ourselves firmly cemented in the middle of professional sports purgatory. Luckily, for rabid sports fans like myself, the Olympics will soon be coming to the rescue. The one in event I’m particularly looking [...]
I completely understand why Ray Allen chose to sign with the Miami Heat.
He gets to go to a team that will contend for a championship every year for the rest of his career, his game is made easier for his aging legs as he’ll likely have many more open, spot-up jumpers with the Heat, and not running through multiple screens to get open. He’s going to Miami, where he can play golf...
It was never about money. The Celtics offered Ray Allen a two-year deal worth $12 million. Miami offered him what they could, which was only $9 million over three years. If Allen wanted to make as much cash as he could before ending his NBA career, he would still be wearing green. Instead, he has decided to sleep with the enemy. The feeling of betrayal Boston fans are coping with...
Hey, I may not think Ray Allen is a traitor, but this is a funny little spoof starring Ray Allen, Rondo and Kevin Garnett.

MIAMI (AP) -- Ray Allen and Rashard Lewis have signed their contracts with the NBA champion Miami Heat, and will be introduced in news conferences later Wednesday.
Allen agreed to join the Heat on Friday. Lewis agreed to terms with Miami on Tuesday. Neither deal could be completed until the NBA's offseason moratorium expired Wednesday.
Allen will make just over 3 million this...
Every once in a while, Twitter reveals some interesting things. Usually, the social media network only reveals what Chad Johnson had for lunch, how many tummy crunches Brooke Burke Charvet did this morning or that Ashton Kutcher is still a dope. Occasionally -- such as when Mike Wallace's death prompted dismay from Pittsburgh Steelers fans mistaking the television journalist...
For the Heat, the sole priority of free agency was achieved with such swiftness that Miami stood as the lone stop on Ray Allen's free agency tour. While Allen, who had grown disgruntled in Boston in the wake of repeated attempts by the Celtics to trade him, had sparked free agency interest from the Los Angeles Clippers, Memphis Grizzlies and Minnesota Timberwolves, all it took...
Last week, Careless Whispers was a disaster as That Other Guy’s lack of ability to run a simple switchboard resulted in him hanging up on all the callers. Or did it? Never fear, CLNSRadio listeners, for Matthew Rury is back! Tonight, the guys will be discussing Ray Allen, Dwight Howard, the olympic team, and whether [...]
While Jason Terry will help fill the void left by Ray Allen, the Celtics could still look to add some backcourt depth. O.J. Mayo is one name that's been tossed around throughout the offseason, and the Celtics apparently aren't closing the book on acquiring the free-agent guard. The C's are still interested in acquiring Mayo, according to CSNNE.com, but they may have to...

CLNS Radio Smack Talk Sports C0-Hosts the SportsProdigy Chris McCarthy and Sean Bakke have a jam packed show lined up as always! With the recent moves of Steve Nash to the Lakers and Ray Allen to the Heat, it’s abundantly clear that the NBA, despite the salary cap restrictions and measures put in place to end the lockout, is still a league of haves and have-nots. With free agency, the teams in California, New York, and Florida are getting the upper hand with players taking less money to team up with other...
