NBA legend Charles Barkley is still a fan favorite at 54 years old, ranking No. 93 on the SNIPdaily NBA Top 100 above Andrew Wiggins and Khris Middleton. Between memories of Barkley’s playing career and the former 76ers’ ease and charm in the public sphere, it’s hard to look away.

But Barkley’s real secret is his blunt-force honesty. After all, this is the man who called Michael Jordan a cheap-skate on "The Oprah Winfrey Show."

That’s why, when asked by TMZ reporters on Wednesday for his ranking of the three greatest athletes of all time, Charles didn’t skip a beat … and didn’t let his feelings about Jordan’s lead wallet effect his sporting opinion.

“Michael Jordan, Tom Brady and Wayne Gretzky,” he said.

Barkley, however, would not put the trio in an order. “They are each the greatest of all time at what they did,” he said, speaking of Brady in the past tense.

Jordan and Brady reign supreme over the Great One in SNIPdaily popularity data. Jordan is No. 20 among the Top 100 most-popular sports figures despite retiring in 2003, while Brady, still actively competing in Super Bowls, sits at No. 3 behind Lebron James at No. 2.

Gretzky, meanwhile, is only No. 39 on SNIPdaily’s Legends Top 100 and a meek No. 95 on the NHL Top 100, behind such illustrious names as Evander Kane and Tristan Jarry.
