Had a Mariachi Band for my Birthdaysay.ly/VLV5r5e — Chris Bosh (@chrisbosh) March 24, 2013 Chris Bosh turned 29 on Sunday, and it seems like he threw himself quite the fiesta to celebrate the occasion. The Miami Heat forward appeared to celebrate his big day on Saturday when the team had a day off instead of Sunday since they have a game. He tweeted that great photo you see above, saying that he hired a mariachi band to play at his birthday. There are so many awesome aspects of the photo. - You have Bosh standing squarely in the middle, about two feet taller than anybody else, with nobody coming higher than his chest. - He’s rocking a sweet sombrero (though we prefer him in a cowboy hat). - He’s giving his classic photobomb look in the picture. We’re guessing his party wasn’t quite as awesome as Dwyane Wade’s 30th birthday bash, but with a mariachi band, it had to have been fun. And since Bosh was giving a photobombing face in his own birthday party picture, we figured we’d sha...

Video: Wade hijacks Heat's broadcast

Heat keep winning while making fans nervous

MIAMI -- LeBron James is on quite a roll these days. He said he even picked Florida Gulf Coast to upset Georgetown on his NCAA tournament bracket. So why should anyone get too worried when James and his Miami Heat fall behind by double digits these days? Well, they still do. For the third straight game, the Heat on Friday fell behind by more than 10 points. But once again they...

Dwyane Wade interviews LeBron James after win #26

The Miami Heat won game #26 in a row against the Charlotte Bobcats on Sunday beating them 109-77 in Miami. Dwyane Wade sat this one out nursing a sore knee but took over commentator duties interviewing LeBron James following the game.   Of course it’s not a proper Miami Heat postgame interview without a video bomb from Chris Bosh!   Sidenote. It’s Spring. They’re in Miami...

Day in Dunking NBA Edition: Who Else but LeBron James!

It would have been ironic had the worst team in the NBA (sorry Charlotte but the record does not lie) beat arguably the best team in the NBA and put an end to their epic winning streak. That, of course, did not happen. What did happen was Dwayne Wade got the day off and LeBron James threw down another massive jam after a half court pass from Norris Cole.

Heat dominate Bobcats for 26th straight win

MIAMI (AP) -- LeBron James finished with 32 points, 10 assists and eight rebounds, Chris Bosh added 15 points and the Miami Heat won their 26th straight game, topping the Charlotte Bobcats 109-77 on Sunday night. Norris Cole scored 15 and Ray Allen added 14 for the Heat, who played without Dwyane Wade, held from the lineup because of right knee soreness that the team believes is...

Wins and fun piling up for Heat

MIAMI -- If LeBron James is getting tired of doing interviews during his team's winning streak, he isn't showing it. Of course, it helps when the guy asking the questions is Miami Heat sidekick Dwyane Wade. If you want know how loose the Heat are these days, check out what unfolded Sunday night following a 109-77 win over the Charlotte Bobcats, Miami's 26th in a row...

Wade out with right knee soreness

MIAMI (AP) -- Dwyane Wade is not playing for the Miami Heat on Sunday against the Charlotte Bobcats because of right knee soreness. Heat coach Erik Spoelstra says Wade has been dealing with the issue for several days and that the team believes a bit of rest and treatment will take care of the problem. It's the fifth game Wade is missing this season. He's averaging 21.5...

Heat at Magic game preview

Game time: 7 p.m. ETTV: Sun Sports The Miami Heat needed a clutch shot by LeBron James to beat the Orlando Magic earlier this month to keep their staggering winning streak going. Injuries to the Magic's top two scorers will likely keep that from happening this time. James and the Heat will try to avoid some recent early struggles in order to make things easier on themselves Monday...

Sunday Standings Watch: Effect of a win streak

There are currently two win streaks of 15 or more games going on in the NBA right now, which is just crazy to think about this late in the season. The pressure is on for Playoff positioning and both the Heat and the Nuggets have lots and lots to play for. These win streaks have served two very different purposes. Miami is on a 25-game win streak and goes for number 26 tonight...

Jim Larranaga danced like Muhammad Ali after win

Jim Larranaga gave us one of the best and most stunning postgame celebration dances after his team squeaked out a win over Illinois Sunday to reach the Sweet 16 of the NCAA tournament. “I told you guys I wanted to see fighters,” Larranaga told his team. “You know what I saw out there?
