After making the roster as an undrafted free agent, Harris made 15 starts last season for Cleveland, averaging 5.9 points, 2.6 rebounds and 17 minutes. He had been unable to practice because of a burn on his right foot that team doctors could not treat during the NBA lockout. With Harris being...
It Didn’t Take Long For Kyrie Irving To Become Cavaliers Leading Scorer
I know it is only the per-season for Kyrie Irving and the Cleveland Cavaliers, but I am liking what I see so far with the NBA’s number one overall pick. Irving needs to work on his shots from the floor but his free throws have been fantastic. Irving has an .875 average from the strip. That is .735 better than LeBron James at this point. James never was the best free throw shooter...

Baron Davis may be from Los Angeles, but he has spent his career dreaming of playing in New York.
“As a rookie when you first go to the Garden, everybody’s telling you how magical it is,” Davis said yesterday after signing with the Knicks. “This is a place I...

CLEVELAND (AP) -- Austin Daye's two free throws with 3.1 seconds left gave the Detroit Pistons a 90-89 win over the Cleveland Cavaliers on Tuesday night.

Knicks Confident Baron Davis Will Be Worth the Wait
The excitement surrounding Baron Davis’s arrival — on a one-year, $1.4 million contract — was necessarily muted, every proclamation qualified by an “if” or a “when” or an “I don’t know.”

Byron Scott: Starting Point Guard Spot Still Up For Grabs
With the Cavaliers preseason contests in the rear-mirror, four of the five starting positions are in ink. The last remaining role: the team’s starting point guard spot with a competition of sorts still ongoing between Ramon Sessions – who started both preseason games – and rookie, first-overall draft selection Kyrie Irving.
With four days remaining until the Cavs tip off...
There may be room for Posey
In addition to possibly giving the Knicks a massive upgrade at point guard, Baron Davis could allow them to add a much-needed backup forward, as well.
Because the Knicks were able to sign Davis for the veteran's minimum of $1.4 million, they still can use their $2.5...
