Rookie point guard Kyrie Irving of the Cleveland Cavaliers will miss the game tonight against the Milwaukee Bucks after suffering a concussion. Irving was kneed in the head during the fourth quarter of Tuesday night’s loss to the Miami Heat. Irving was driving to the basket when forward Chris Bosh banged into him propelling him backwards. Irving hit his head on Dwayne Wade’s knee as he fell to the ground. Irving reported having headaches before the game on Wednesday against the Loss Angeles Clippers. According to a Cavaliers spokesperson, Irving was seen by Dr. Rick Figler at the Cleveland Clinic yesterday. The team is unsure of how much time Irving will miss but they are taking every precautionary measure to ensure his safety. The NBA put a concussion policy in place late last year that every team must follow when a player suffers a head injury.
