New Orleans Hornets guard Eric Gordon has been ruled out of Friday night's game against the visiting Phoenix Suns. Gordon is dealing with a bone bruise and swelling in his knee that kept him out of the lineup for Wednesday's victory over the Boston Celtics. Marco Belinelli will take Gordon's place in the starting lineup. Gordon scored 20 points in the Hornets' season opener Monday against the Suns, his first game with New Orleans after coming over in a blockbuster trade with the Los Angeles Clippers in the offseason.
