Found October 07, 2012 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
Since there aren't comments from the opposing team's fans for today's game I thought I'd do something a little different and gather Celtics fans comments.  There is a very good feeling in Celtic Nation after the first two games and I thought it would be fun to let the kool-aid flow a bit.  Enjoy today's comments from the Celtics' side and get excited.

The interview with sullinger before the game made me smile. he's just asking questions and will do whatever is needed.

So uh. Rondo looks super confident with his shot. Amazing sign

Our offense will really open up if Rondo can force defenses to respect his shot. It looks real good so far.

Garnett is so **** energetic **** love it

Strong finish right there by Sully.

Yea, I like seeing that. That is something the C's have missed, a guy who will bang in the post.

If Rondo keeps up this shooting during the season he will be a legit MVP candidate.

What a amazing finish by Rondo. He'll be in MVP discussions this year for sure.

Coaches are already shaking their heads wondering why they passed on sully... Lotto/high lotto talent right here and hes only gonna get better

I get chills from seeing sully attack the glass....

I have a feeling that if Rondo wins an MVP award in his career, it's going to be this year.

[dang] rondo 6-6 and 1-1 on 3s so far

Who is this Rajon Rondo?

Rondo in mvp form

I love how he doesn't hesitate to shoot the moment they sag

Rondo is on a mission this year I have a feeling will see him take his game to the next level

Collins looks in GREAT shape.

Sully looking good out there with the Starters. Great BB IQ.

Rondo is looking like our primary scorer and Paul is looking 1000x better than last game. And I believe that the real Courtney lee is in the house tonight

Rondo looks so confident shooting like it's a light workout. If he can keep that confidence, the sagging off/going under the screen against him will be over soon.

Lee! Love to see him getting in a groove

I really like how versatile green is... At this point I'm very happy to have him over perk

Love seeing Darko so active on the defensive end. Also love Jeff Green's aggression here. That's something we didn't have last year from the bench: a guy who wanted to be aggressive and take the shot. Not gonna be a problem this year with JET and Jeff

I really like Darko.. Never thought I'd say that but he's rebounding well and saving possessions with those little tap outs. Blocking shots. I just like everything he's doing right now.

Have to love the part where all the Celtics ran to help Darko up when he fell down... that's not a team right there, that's a family Loving this team already

Are the Celtics going to lead the league in headbands this season?

Sully is a beast!

Sully is what we need a young kid who loves to rebound...gets position....

That's 2 nice passes in a row from Darko and 2 nice blocks a few plays before. Have to say I'm impressed so far.

Darko has been Perk like today!

Sully is relentless ... KG and Rondo gonna love this kid. Doc already adopted Sully as his son I think

Greens got HOPS

Nice to see Jeff Green starting to assert himself.

I freaking love this team. We're stacked at every position. We have no scrubs on this team anymore. CELTICS!

Sully 's play is gonna force Bass /Green to play more aggressive or get worked by a 20year old rookie

Hey... To whomever started that "Sullinger has a bad back" stuff before the draft...... Thanks

Ahh the sweet, sweet lisp of Brian Scalabrine is music to my ears!

BAM! Jeff Green be killin em!

Lol. I love how he drives to the basket. It's so smooth...that last drive was **** awesome. He actually finishes with two defenders on him because he's so long.

Darko really has a chance to be a force defensively with this team

How long til people ask to start Darko? This dude is balling. And we got him for the vet min? Yes pleassse!

Loving this second unit with Terry-Lee-Green-Bass-Darko. That's a borderline playoff team in the East, and that's are second unit. They play at a completely different tempo, its like showing opponents two different teams. Really like Sully with the first unit.

Love the athleticism from our new guys.

I'm still blackout. Both CSNNE and NBA TV is not working. That's strange

Darko must've killed somebody on the court

Fab looks really good moving defensively.

Dionte Christmas has got some cojones. He's come to stay.

I'm saying it now... Sully got game... He should be starting with KG, PP, Rondo, and Lee/AB

Sully is the steal of the draft, not even up for debate

The second unit and the new guys have been great. If KG and Paul continue their play at last years level, we are going to win a lot of basketball games. It's been a while since I have seen our team with talented players on the court at all times.

By new year, assuming all goes well, our bench could be Lee, Terry, Green, Bass, Darko, Wilcox. Man, that's exciting.

When Darko gets his timing down on offense, look out! He was monster defensively. He also played really well last game. I hope he keeps this up throughout the season, I love what I'm seeing so far! He had good looks on offense today but his shot was off. He was very active on both ends. He set so many good screens/picks today I had to stop commenting on them (in chat) b/c they just kept coming! Looking good Darko/"Celtic"!!!!

Darko is a beast! If he just brings the defense and physical presence he showed today, he more than makes up for not having Perk. I saw size toughness in the paint that we have been missing since Perk was traded.

Last year it seemed to me that Brandon Bass had a very slow release of his shot, which resulted in him getting his shot blocked too often and I think he got shy about taking his shot when he saw a defender rushing towards him. This game I’ve been watching his shot release and it seems like he has made it a quicker release.

Bass so quiet but so effective

Jeff Greennnnnnnnnnnnnn WOOOOOOOW! BEAST!

Darko is good at being big really clogs up the paint

I didn't know Courtney Lee had this kind of athleticism.

Crazy move by Lee. There's something you didn't see Ray Allen do..

Hard to get better than KG as a leader. He's not up there cheerleading as an act. He's genuinely excited when these young guys make a play.

Man, Christmas is really going at it out there in his short time. I know everyone wants to make the team, but he REALLY wants to make the team

The bench is going to be so good this season

Rondo killed it today, Improved his jumper a lot form last season.

I also think Sully is gonna be a surprise to everyone else but us once the season is underway...his nose for position and the basket is almost unteachable really.

Only 2 games in Europe? I would have thought that a trip overseas would involve more than 2 games.

No team in Europe wants to mess with Darko anymore!

Scal is a gazillion times better than Donny Marshall.

Darko’s going to make a difference this year as long as he doesn’t go into any mental funks. He’s such a steal at vet min.

Darko > Steimsma i really like what i saw from Darko and i think he is earning the back-up center role. he is just as good a shot-blocker as Steimsma but his post D is better.

More Rondo fashion pics

Rajon Rondo made the cover of Boston Common Magazine and they have a pretty lengthy interview and feature on him. Not sure if the author really knows their basketball as they allude to Ray Allen playing the same position as Rondo on the court, but the article does have some good quotes from Rondo.People can judge point guards by assessing passing, scoring, defense, and a slew of...

A Confident Rondo

Rajon Rondo told me he was more confident in his 3-point shot and had been working hard on it. Form on 3 he just hit looked best it ever had — Marc J. Spears (@SpearsNBAYahoo) October 5, 2012 How many times over the last few years have we said that if Rondo just had a jumper he would be scary. Well, I think we may just have a scary Rondo on our hands this season. I've said...

Rondo, Darko, Sullinger stand out in win in Milan

The Celtics weren’t about to become the first NBA team to drop both games in an NBA Europe trip.  Rajon Rondo dominated the first quarter, the second unit pulled away in the second quarter, and then it was all a breeze from there in a 105-75 win. Here’s what stood out: Rondo, obviously, off the top.  He had a perfect first quarter, shooting 7-7, including his 1 three and two...

Celtics beat Milano 105-75 on preseason tour

Rajon Rondo scored all 17 of his points in the first quarter and added six assists to lead the Boston Celtics to a 105-75 win over Emporio Armani Milano on Sunday, two days after the NBA team opened its preseason European tour with a loss in Turkey. Jeff Green also had 17 points off the bench for Boston. Green missed all of last season after a physical exam revealed an aortic aneurysm...

Celtics defense suffocates EA7 Milano, 105-75

It was a close game in the first quarter despite Rajon Rondo's brilliant 17 points on 7-for-7 shooting in the opening frame. Then the Celtics defense kicked in, they held the Italians to 4-of-19 shooting in that second quarter and that was pretty much the story of the game. Rajon Rondo's 17 ended up tying for the team lead with Jeff Green. Paul Pierce added 14 on 4-of...

For the second straight game Jeff Green was the C’s leading scorer, posting 17 points (as did Rajon Rondo) in 25 minutes of action [...]

What we learned from the Boston Celtics Eurotrip

The Celtics recently wrapped up a two game European swingThe Boston Celtics recently finished up a two game preseason schedule in Europe with mixed results. Of course that means that it is time to blow everything completely out of proportion. Let’s get going:This shouldn’t surprise anyone, but Rajon Rondo looked to be in complete control throughout the entire trip. As usual,...

What Can We Learn from the Celtics Trip to Europe?

The Celtics played their second preseason game of the season yesterday, this time in Milan against an Italian league team (their first contest was in Istanbul vs a squad from Turkey). I’ll be the first to admit that you can’t really infer much based on observations of a couple preseason games in Europe against teams from leagues we know nothing about.  As good as Jeff Green...
