I'm not sure what to think about this team any more. They showed during the win streak that they can play the right way. But then they don't. Not even after Doc called them out. They have to get it together, starting with the defense.   This losing stuff is getting old.  I want a W because I despise everything Buh-stun. Will be interesting to see how Waiters plays against Bradley, one of the better perimeter defenders in the league.. Recipe for disaster. Waiters goes 3 for 16 for 9 points and the Cavs lose by 19. Celtics are old and tired. Only a matter of time before they blow that team up. We stand no chance in this. The 10th and 11th guys on the Celtics depth chart are more valuable than Rudy Gay and Avery Bradley is better than Lebron according to Celtics fans. Barbosa for Miami’s big three is probably the only move they could pull off but even at that would they see minutes? Celtics’ and Lakers’ fans are the absolute worst about thinking their *...

Kevin Garnett is frustrated with his play, says he needs to find more ways to help the team

Throughout the Celtics latest losing streak, there seems to be a lot of reflection going on within the team's locker room. A few days ago it was Doc Rivers questioning how bad the team 'wants it' and threatening to get rid of players if the team doesn't start winning. Last night Paul Pierce questioned the team's mental toughness. Among those currently in a state...

Avery Bradley: “Nobody will score 40 on me unless they take 40 shots”

via Twitter: To begin with some background information, I think it’s best that we all view this video below of Kyrie Irving’s 40 point performance against the Celtics last night. Avery Bradley’s since deleted the tweet, but followed it up with “No shots at anybody. Its confidence.” If you take 40 shots to get to 40 points against anyone you aren’t being too efficient...

Your Morning Dump..Where You’re Either With KG Or Against Him

Every morning, we compile the links of the day and dump them here… highlighting the big storyline. Because there’s nothing quite as satisfying as a good morning dump.. Good piece this morning on KG from the NY Times’ Harvey Araton. Heading into tonight’s game with the Knicks, Melo & KG have supposedly put their squabble behind them. But we all know that with KG, anything’s...

Boston Celtics reportedly ban Honey Nut Cheerios signs, boxes

The Boston Celtics reportedly instructed security guards not to allow Honey Nut Cheerios boxes or signs into the TD Bank Garden for the team’s game against the New York Knicks on Thursday. The last time the teams played, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony and Celtics forward Kevin Garnett got into a fight that resulted in double-technical fouls. Melo was so upset with KG he confronted...

Boston Celtics Land Two Starters in 2013 All-Star Game

Rondo and Garnett come together as All-Stars The Boston Celtics have landed two players into the starting lineup of the 2013 NBA All-Star Game. Rajon Rondo and Kevin Garnett will both be starting this year for the Eastern Conference.   For Rondo this will be his fourth trip to the All-star game and the first time he will be starting. In his first three appearances he has averaged...

“The locker room has become a playhouse…”

After Rajon Rondo called out his teammates for not taking losses as hard as they probably should, there’s more coming out about the state of the C’s locker room. The Celtics are a team — and that’s not counting Rajon Rondo, Paul Pierce, and Kevin Garnett — that believes because they are Celtics, because Rivers is the coach, and because the organization has been successful...

'Melo, Knicks end slide in Boston

Carmelo Anthony scored 28 points and won his rematch with Kevin Garnett as the New York Knicks ended an 11-game losing streak in Boston with an 89-86 victory over the Celtics on Thursday night. It came 17 days after a verbal clash between the All-Star forwards following Boston's 102-96 victory in New York led to Anthony's one-game suspension. Anthony was booed frequently...

Knicks 89, Celtics 86

BOSTON -- The first meeting between Carmelo Anthony and Kevin Garnett since their nasty encounter on Jan. 7 in New York turned into just another night of misery for the floundering Celtics. Anthony, suspended for a game for going out to the Boston bus after Garnett's alleged comments, scored 28 points and grabbed nine rebounds to lead the New York Knicks to a 89-86 victory...

Comments from the Other Side - Pistons 1/20

The Celtics are just so inconsistent.  Doc was right to call them out after this game.   Hopefully that gets them going.  They've proved that when they give the effort they're very good.   I love the Bird/Laimbeer fight.   My favorite part of that was afterwards when they told Bird that Laimbeer said he was just going for the ball and Bird said that he was just giving...
