Found December 09, 2012 on Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
PLAYERS: Jeff Green
TEAMS: Boston Celtics
A lot of complaining about the refs but they let a lot go on both sides.  They called it pretty much even.   I loved the comment wondering if the Celtics had Go Go Gadget arms.  They did seem to be hustling to all the loose balls.   Now if only the Celtics can find their consistency and do this on a regular basis.  Enjoy today's comments.  I've highlighted my favorites in bold.  What are yours?  Some teams simply have other teams number... And I think that simply might be the case with the Sixers... The Celtics are dealing with older legs... Will be tough to sweep the home and home, hopefully our young legs beats their experience in a back to back coming off an OT. Boston will be the more fatigued team given their age. I actually think we win this one pretty easily. The Celts are a better team (despite the record) and I just don't think Rondo, Pierce, and KG are going to let us sweep the first 3 games of the year. I have a feeling Pierce is gonna get a lot of those frustrating arm-flailing free throws that will keep us at arms length Just guard the 3 point line. Don't let whiny btch PP and Jet get off from 3 Paul P playing like he has a point to prove against E. Heinsohn, I see no one has stabbed you in the throat yet. Pierce Vs Turner is hillarious. Both dudes hate each other. I don't hate KG but he is a tool. More of a clown than anything. He makes me laugh so he's cool with me. Tiresome Tommy. He was just saying nice things about Turnah. Hope they don't give PP every phantom call in the book tonight. The Celts religiously give the foul on easy opportunities at the rim. Cost Jrue four assists last night. Have to finish through the contact that's coaching Grab a rebound please I'm begging Thank goodness that quarter is over and we're headed to the point where Paul P runs out of gas.. I'm watching on the net, I have to listen the Celtics announcers, the bias is nauseating. That's just bad. Moultrie lets Sullinger punk him on the board, then Hawes lets a guy get in his grill and get the And 1. Sullinger lost a lot of weight post-OSU, looks lighter and more mobile. Boston really wants this one. Good thing we grabbed one last night. We'll see where they are in the 3rd. Team is ancient. I like to pretend that Tommy is actually Peter Griffin announcing. It makes the whole thing more enjoyable. DO TEH CELTICS HAVE GOGO GADGET ARMS THAT THEY CAN GRAB EVERY DAMN LOOSE BALL??? We never win back to backs against "old teams". Lavoy Allen can't do anything against garnett Refs are calling ticky tack fouls against the sixers. Bavetta needs to stop being a referee. I wonder if they make him take eye exams? The rebounding ineptitude of this sixers team is just mind-numbing. Sixers’ 8-30 shooting makes me want to poop my pants Sixers’ bigs not able to do anything around the basket makes me want to eat the poop that I left in my pants. Another contender for worst half of the season? There have been a lot of those. Though I'm sure I hate losing to Boston more than losing to Milwaukee/Detroit. Thank goodness that quarter is over and we're headed to the point where Paul P runs out of gas... Pierce yells and the refs give them the call This is more about the Celtics than the Sixers... I think they were embarrassed last night and they just using every trick in the book tonight.... Chapter 1 - Killer D It may not matter if the Celts run outta a gas. They threw it on us and then tossed on a match in this half. Their defense is like a blanket covering the entire team... I hate Spencer Hawes so much. So useless. Waste of 7'0". How you gonna be that tall and so utterly inept at rebounding? And when KG gets in your face could you stop looking down like a little ***** and look the guy in the eyes? So ****ing soft. I feel better about the sixers chances of winning this game with Jeff green on the bench These refs are f***ing old and dumb. Yeah we lost this one. This was predetermined by the league. How can the league let these shtty refs get away with these terrible calls Yeah its the refs who play bad defense, not taking defensive rebounds and take terrible shots Get real, the team play like **** It doesn't help when your not getting any calls on the offensive end though and getting called for tick tack fouls on the defensive end These refs are utter gutter trash. That was CLEARLY out on the Celtics. I'm sure these refs are legally blind due to their old age so why are they still officiating? Do you seriousley believe sixers play so bad and down big because of the refs? KG is so far past his prime... He's a straight up jump shooter now. This is some biased officiating. Not making an excuse, because we are getting flat out outplayed, but these officials are clearly calling a one-sided game.... And its disgusting how obvious it is. This whole team is a** today. My peg-legged, double-amputee, one-eyed, pirate grandma can shoot better than the way they are right now. I hate Hawes on Garnett. Hate hate hate. I hate the Boston announcers I hate Boston. I hate Hawes. The Sixers had 28 points at the end of the 1Q yesterday. The Sixers have 28 points at the end of the half today. On the see-saw with the Celtics right now. Celtics are the fat kid. Celtics D is really good. We are not taking advantage of Rondo. And the refs at the Garden its not even fair. Its corrupted af cus KG a big time player he gets to hold and push players around BS Paul pierce should've been a Sixer. Thank you Larry brown Our bigs are so dumb. Why respect Kg's drive? This is not 2004 If Hawes punches KG in the face in 2nd half, all we be forgiven. What I would give to see that. Is Jeff Green really that good Nope, we're just playing horrible D Sixers making the role players on the c's look like allstars Our frontcourt is shamefully unathletic, other than our league bowler of course. I guess they weren't going to beat a prideful team like Boston 3 straight. I hate losing, but I really really hate losing to the C's. [Discuss on CG Forums!]
