Celtics Green ...a boston celtics blog.:
Spurs fans have the usual Pierce and KG hate. I'm sure the Jason Terry hate comes from his time across the state with the Mavs, but I'm not sure where all the Jeff Green hate comes from on the Spurs boards. I've put my favorite series of comments in bold. What are your favorites? Enjoy and Happy Thanksgiving to all the Celtics family.
Hate the Celtics with a passion. Should be a good game.
I'm actually excited for this game tonight. The Celtics haven't been themselves as of late, but I do love watching Rondo play. He's my favorite PG in the league, hands down.
Neal is a great shooter but has the IQ of a rock.
Boris should see a psychologist, he seems like he has a legit phobia of shooting.
The Celtics commentators are unbearable tbh, even bigger homers than Sean Eliott if that's possible.
Wow, Jet is haunting us even at the Celtics…
Timmeh > The Chest Pounder
I think we need more size on Pierce.
We don’t have any.
The Celtics announcers are just pure haters that can't acknowledge that a player from the other team made a good play.
Diaw with his first good defensive play in two weeks.
How long before KG starts trying to get in Tiago's head?
Celtics look tired out there. If we continue to attack this game should be ours.
Drinking game for college students who have a big test the next morning: Drink every time the Celtics get an offensive rebound.
Finish the bottle on every Garnett chestpound
I said a game for students who take a test next morning, not one for students who need an emergency detox.
LOL Green sucks
LOL retard Ainge
I still can’t stand Terry
His head is so tiny.
I hate terry with every fiber of my cells.
Rondo is so desperate to rack up assists to further that lame streak
Defensive rebounding looking great tonight... Not 1 offensive rebound for the Celtics
Celtics are 30th in the league for offensive rebounding IIRC... that's not really something to brag about
Our rebounding looks good because the Celtics can't rebound.
No offensive rebounds allowed. It helps that all of Boston bigs are jumpshooters or Chris Wilcox.
The KG Celtics have always been horrible on the boards. They got even worse when they traded their center for Gr$$n.
$36 million for Jeff Green
Lost Kendrick Perkins for that
Prob would have won the title last season if not for the retarded trade
Just realised all Celtics starters have no Personal Foul Called so far except 1 for Bass… Ref problem again?
Most of the fouls were called on their bench
Should Blair be on Garnett?
Garnett’s perimeter game will probably tire Duncan out
The reality is Tim hates Garnett so much, he wants to be a s far away from him as possible.
Two moving screens by Garnett there
New personal low.
Never have been called. Never will.
“this is the most exciting game I’ve seen all year” wow, the commentator said that in the most boring way I’ve heard all year.
That’s the legendary Scalabrine you’re talking about.
You see Rondo's reaction to Bass not finishing lol
I want my assist
Can't believe this is the Boston Celtics; even when they had that horrible 10 regular season they still played defense.
Yeah... Not sure what happened with them..
Jeff Green infected them with his lack of talent, tbh
Do Boston fans root for him to die on the floor to get out of that contract? Surely they'd get an exception then, right?
What is a stupider invented record: this assist one Rondo is chasing or that time CP3 set the record for most consecutive games with a steal? You shouldn't be able to claim record when the record holder had no idea he was setting a record, tbh.
I want us to stuff Rondo's record
Don't even defend Rondo; he's not looking at the rim.
Rondo has the most quiet double digit assists games in the league. He literally doesn't even have to do much. He dribbles a couple of times and takes a couple of steps, and voila, guys are just wide open.
Lmao Rondo passing it off with 1 second when he had a open look at the buzzer.
STAT PAD ATTEMPT FAILED
TD looking very spry tonight. Don't blame him seeing as he hates KG and all
Does anyone has the feeling Rondo doesn’t actually has that many assists? I have always thought he gets way too much credit for baskets. I would like to compare the home and away numbers.
Rondo …air lay-up
Wilcox can still jump, apparently.
Garnett with 1 reb Parker has 2
Am I supposed to hate the clippers or the thunder more? These are confusing times
Clippers! They reek of arrogance.
The refs called a foul on KG against Splitter of all people. And Splitter is making free throws…..THE WORLD IS ENDING!!!!!!!
Felt good to see a win in Boston. Not that Boston is worth glooming over, but its a victory.

You learn something new every day. Jason Terry learned his shooting technique from George "Ice Man" Gervin. Wow!
And here is Iceman explaining how he got his nickname and the origin of his famous finger roll.

Jason Terry and Jeff Green lead the Celtics to their first statement win of the season tonight after beating the Oklahoma City Thunder 108-100.The JET hit a huge three at the end of the fourth quarter, Paul Pierce had a strong second half and Jeff Green had a strong 17-point performance off the bench to [...]
So far this is dunk is about all we've seen from Green.
The Celtics have lost two in a row. They're in danger of falling below .500. This evening will be the first time Jeff Green has ever played against his former team. If all of those things don't set him up perfectly to have his best game of the year, than I don't know what does.
So far his season highs...
MEANING OF THANKSGIVING
Reminds me of Reggie Lewis and his turkey giveaway back in the early 90's. Solid move on Terry's part.
It's kind of funny to get Thunder fans perspective on this Jeff Green trade. It seems like they feel the same way about Perk that we feel about Green, especially after Uncle Jeff's big game tonight. Do they want to trade back?!
The Thunder fans also seemed to get much delight out of making fun of the Rondo assist streak and his home court advantage in that regard. They also...
I just got back from an 8-hour drive this Saturday with only one thing on my mind…except for a couple X-rated things. I just wanted to sit on my couch, watch the Celtics play the not so exciting Raptors. Why would I be so enthralled over one lousy regular season game? The answer has two words. RAJON RONDOOOOOOO. Man, I haven’t been so excited over a player on the Celtics since...
So I may have reached a bit with my headline, but I needed that win.
Fueled by Paul Pierce and Jeff Green, the Celtics beat the Oklahoma City Thunder, 108-100. While Pierce and Green deserve credit for strong individual performances, this truly was a team effort. The Celtics had 8 offensive rebounds. The bench cranked out 35 points. The defense came alive (in the 2nd and 3rd quarters...
Trading places: Green played well against his former team
Saying "best win of the season" is cliche. But so far, this was absolutely the best win of the season. The Celtics beat the Thunder 108-100, in a game that was hardly in doubt in the final quarter. The Celtics were led by Paul Pierce who was absolutely on fire, putting up 27 points on 8-16 shooting, and of course...
Here's another edition of the Best of Tommy. When Tommy and Mike were doing the Mailbag, Tommy got a question asking who would win a championship first - Perk or Ray. His answer was classic Tommy.
Who wins a championship first: Perk or Ray? "Uggghh. Ohhhh....I'm not gonna guess. I'm just gonna say 'Mail again after the All-Star Game.'"
IamJeffreyJason is back with more Celtkicks “spotlight” photos. These pics feature kicks rocked by Truth, Rajon Rondo, KG & Jason Terry.
KG is seen in the highly anticipated Anta “KG3″, Rondo, in the upcoming Nike Foamposite “Stealth”, as well as the controversial Nike “Air Max 360 BB low”.
Jason Terry rocks a very dope colorway of the Reebok “Sublite ProRise”...
By Mike ShalinThe Sports Xchange BOSTON -- In most situations, Oklahoma City coach Scott Brooks would be thrilled to see Jeff Green have the kind of game he had Friday night. But Friday night, Green, who now plays for the Celtics, had a big game against the Thunder, his old team. "I love him. It was good to see. I was hoping he'd have it against Orlando Sunday and...
BOSTON — Jeff Green found the concept baffling. His good friend and former teammate, Kevin Durant, dropped 29 points against him, yet it was suggested that he and Paul Pierce had teamed up to make the Oklahoma City Thunder forward’s night miserable.
“He still got 37 points,” Green said, before he was quickly told Durant’s actual scoring total. “Close to 30, whatever....
BOSTON -- Jeff Green was anything but hospitable to his old team Friday night. Green, who was traded from Oklahoma City to Boston late in the 2010-11 season and missed all of last season with a heart problem that required surgery, scored the last seven points of an 11-0 run late in the third quarter that helped the Celtics end a two-game losing streak with a 108-100 win over the...
This just in: the Spurs are REALLY good. Between their incredible chemistry and remarkable passing, it was just too much for the Celtics to handle. Whether it was the FIFTY EIGHT points inside the paint or the 8-of-16 shooting from downtown, the Spurs just showed the Celtics what a title contender looks like a 112-100 loss. Thiago Splitter led the way with 23 points on 9-of -11...
