This has to be difficult on Bulls fans. Before and after Game 2 of the Heat vs. Bulls series a bunch of unconfirmed reports surfaced that Rose would be making his triumphant return to the Bulls in Game 3 of the series. There reports were very vague, they went from, he would definitely play to he would wear his uniform, but just sit on the bench (which made absolutely no sense). I had a feeling that some in the media were grasping at straws or were giving bad information by their “sources” and that appears to be the case. BREAKING: Derrick Rose is out for Game 3 tonight. Luol Deng and Kirk Hinrich are also both out. — SportsCenter (@SportsCenter) May 10, 2013

Derrick Rose gets to snack from the big bowl of candy on the Bulls bench

When you a superstar like Chicago Bulls guard Derrick Rose, you get to snack on the big bowl of candy on the Chicago Bulls bench during game two of the Miami Heat/Bulls series: Clearly, Derrick is either a fan of “peach rings” or “life savers”. *** Derrick Rose snacks on the big bowl of candy [Bleacher Report]

Derrick Rose Is OK to Stick With Decision Not to Play, But He’ll Have to Accept Everything That Comes With It

If Chicago fans crying over Derrick Rose can use The Lion King to show their pain, I will use Aladdin to give lessons about the state that Rose is in now. Rose tore the ACL in his left knee in the first game of last year’s playoffs. He had surgery and began the recovery process, with optimistic hopes being that he could be back for some of this season, and at least the playoffs...

Derrick Rose Pictured on Game 3 Playoff Tickets

Maybe the Bulls really did expected him back in Game 3 and then Rose trolled them. I have to ask someone how far in advance this tickets are printed. They had to wait until at least 1st round is over, to know what date and time, so it had to be recent. No need to tease Bulls fans like this. That is cruel and unusual punishment. H/T @dan_bernstein

Miami Heat Embarrass the Chicago Bulls in Game Two; Will This Encourage Derrick Rose to Come Back?

After Game One of the Eastern Conference semifinals match-up between the Chicago Bulls and Miami Heat there were some that were wondering if the Bulls actually had a shot at upsetting the defending world champs. In Game Two LeBron James and company answered that question with an emphatic NO! This game looked like what you would expect from a team as ridiculously talented...

Grant Hill and the price of returning too soon

Pretty much all of us have had something to say about the Derrick Rose saga, and most of the comments have been critical. Now we have an interesting perspective from Grant Hill, who is convinced he returned too soon from a serious ankle injury after he too was cleared to play by his doctors. Part of the Rose controversy was fueled by Rose’s own brother, who implied Rose didn...

Should Derrick Rose Get a Ring?

...if the Bulls were to win the championship?

Why should Rose trust Bulls?

So the kid who survived the South Side of Chicago, one of America's harshest urban battlegrounds, is now a wimp. Yeah, the kid who learned the game getting bullied and beat up by three older, basketball-playing brothers has grown soft at the tender age of 24. Derrick Rose is a p---y. I ain't buying it. No way. Chicago's Englewood neighborhood swallows cowards for snacks...

NBA on TNT discussing Derrick Rose wasting of all our time

Every bit of hate Derrick Rose has inspired in Chicago Bulls and NBA fans- he’s truly earned it. Yes, both the Chicago Bulls front office/media relations and Derrick Rose himself are to blame on this clusterf….. However, Derrick Rose is the highly paid superstar; he’s the icon. It’s on him to rise above and do something about why the whole city (rightfully) hates him currently...

Penny Hardaway, Grant Hill preach patience for Derrick Rose

With the Eastern Conference Semifinals shifting to Chicago for the next two games, the attention has turned toward Derrick Rose once again. Anticipation has been that if Rose were to make a return to the court this season, it would have to be at home for maximum momentum and comfort. Since Derrick Rose will not slam the door on his return by saying he is coming back one way or...

The Derrick Rose Saga…One thing I know for sure

Guest Post By Alex Boris (@Bman86) Throughout this over the top suffocating coverage of Derrick Rose and his repaired ACL, comparisons have been made from Adrian Peterson to Greg Oden, to Bernard King, to Rob Gronkowski (yes seriously, because he came back too soon they’re saying!).  The immediate defenders of Rose are quick to recall how Chris Paul never was the same again ...

Joakim Noah doesn’t let obscene gestures ruin his day

Chicago Bulls canter Joakim Noah said Thursday that getting a middle finger thrown into his face as he walked off the court after getting ejected in Game 2 on Wednesday against the Miami Heat wasn’t fun but it wouldn’t ruin his day. “Do you have fun when

Bulls without Luol Deng, Kirk Hinrich, Derrick Rose in Game 3 loss

As expected, the Chicago Bulls entered their Game 3 matchup against the Miami Heat without forward Luol Deng or guards Kirk Hinrich and Derrick Rose. While they still put up a fight, the Bulls ultimately dropped last night’s contest to go down 2-1 in the best-of-seven series.Coach Tom Thibodeau told reporters – including USA Today – that Chicago would be without Deng, Hinrich...

Making up the headlines just like they did with Derrick Rose return

I recently came across an article that claimed that it was likely Derrick Rose would be back with the Bulls in game 3 of their series against the Miami Heat. Why did the writer have reason to believe this would be the case? Because Rose had not explicitly stated that he was not playing in the game, and since the Bulls won game 1 they could possibly, maybe, win the series? First...
