Phoenix Suns forward Michael Beasley is under investigation for an allegation of sexual assault involving an incident on Jan. 13, 2013, Scottsdale Police confirmed Tuesday. A Scottsdale Police spokesman said the investigation is ongoing as police continue to interview those involved and process evidence to determine whether or not they will files criminal charges against Beasley, 24. Because the investigation remains open, no further details of the incident could be disclosed. Beasley signed a three-year deal with the Suns last July, and in his first season with the team he averaged 10.1 points and 3.8 rebounds per game. This is not Beasley's first run in with Scottsdale Police, as he was cited in late January for driving with a suspended license, driving with expired registration, speeding and failure to properly display a license plate on his vehicle.
