Could Shan Foster replace Ray Allen?

Shan Foster, a 6 foot 6, 200 pound shooting guard from Vanderbilt, seems like a logical replacement and backup for Ray Allen (6-5,205), who turns 33 this July. Foster was the AP and Coaches' SEC player of the year this past year, and led the SEC in points per game (20.5), 3 point percentage (47.3%), and 3 pointers made (133) this past season. He has a funky, but accurate shot and displayed NBA range on many occasions. His basketball IQ is very high and he has great court vision.
