Good morning Dribblers. Welcome to Friday. It seems we had a small issue while trying to post yesterday's Dribbles, so today you will get a hybrid of sorts. Not that the subject will be much different; I'm obviously going to discuss the lockout and its recent developments.
Now for the rundown:
The league and the NBA Players Union had meetings Wednesday and Thursday this week. Wednesday's session was in excess of 15 hours while Thursdays was a little shorter, hitting the seven-hour mark. However, both meetings seemed to have productive results. Well, sort of.
We were given word by NBA commissioner David Stern and Players Union executive director Billy Hunter that progress was made, but we were spared the details. Thursday's meeting was a bit more interesting, giving us details regarding some of the progress made on the system.
