Beyond The Buzzer:
DeMarcus Cousins picked up his sixteenth technical of the season during Sunday’s game in Houston and will be handed a one-game suspension pending league review. Cousins received the technical foul for shoving Rockets forward, Greg Smith, late in the first quarter as the two were fighting for position.
Cousins, who has a reputation for a bad temper, will serve the suspension during Monday’s game against the Oklahoma City Thunder if the technical is upheld. If it’s rescinded, he will not serve a suspension. The Kings center leads the league in technicals (16) and is second to Larry Sanders in ejections (4).
