DeMarcus Cousins is a 6’11″ center but apparently he thinks he has the ball-handling skills of a young Magic Johnson.
Against the Utah Jazz on Thursday night Cousins ended up with the ball on the break and worked his way through three defenders, juking guard Jamaal Tinsley with a sweet, behind-the-back dribble before finishing with a lay-in.
Then, as if that wasn’t enough, Cousins raced back down the floor and grabbed the rebound on the ensuing possession.
Nice work Mr. Cousins, those were some pretty sick handles.
Oh by the way, Cousins and his Sacramento Kings lost the game 103-102.

DeMarcus Cousins needs to grow into his potential
Seeing DeMarcus Cousins in a King’s uniform reminds me a lot of Chris Webber. Cousins has the best handles in the NBA, you throw a pass within a 20ft radius of Cousins and he is swallowing the ball up better than I’ve seen anyone do since C-Web.
DeMarcus also owns the best skill sets of any center in the NBA, pretty impressive for a guy who didn’t play basketball until the...

Cousins has beef with Harris
DeMarcus Cousins and Devin Harris aren't exactly best friends. They seemed to have plenty of friction during their recent game.
Oh The Irony, DeMarcus Cousins
DeMarcus Cousins is one helluva young, talented player; but boy is he a #Idiot. He currently leads the NBA in fouls and is tied in first with Carmelo Anthony, for having your coach fired. Remember back in January, former Sacramento Kings head coach Paul Westphal and Cousins got into a public spat, that apparently led to Cousins demanding a trade and Westphal releasing a public statement...

DeMarcus Cousins coached the Kings after fouling out last night
Kings center DeMarcus Cousins fouled out of last night’s win over the Grizzles with 6:48 left in the game. But instead of taking a seat, grabbing a Gatorade, and becoming a spectator, he asked head coach Keith Smart to let him coach. Keith Smart agreed and Cousins takes it from there. Via @outsidethenba
Blazers claim J.J. Hickson off waivers
The Portland Trail Blazers have picked up forward J.J. Hickson off waivers.
Hickson was waived by Sacramento on Monday. The Kings acquired him last June from Cleveland for forward Omri Casspi and a conditional future first-round draft pick. He played 35 games for the Kings, averaging 4.7 points and 5.1 rebounds in 18.4 minutes per contest.
He had been bothered recently by back...
Kings sign Terrence Williams to 10-day contract
The Sacramento Kings have signed free agent Terrence Williams to a 10-day contract.
Kings President of Basketball Operations Geoff Petrie announced Williams' signing Wednesday. Williams sat courtside for Sacramento's 119-110 victory over Memphis on Tuesday night and was in the Kings locker room after the game.
Williams averaged 4.5 points and 2.3 rebounds in 12 games for...
DeMarcus Cousins puts on Keith Smart’s jacket and pretends to coach (Video)
When you foul out of a game in the fourth quarter and your team has a comfortable lead, there’s only two reasonable things you can do. You can either sit down on the bench and cheer for your teammates, or you can throw on your coach’s sport jacket and pretend to coach the team. As you can see from the video above that @jeskeets shared with us, DeMarcus Cousins opted for the...
Kings hold off Grizzlies to win triple digit game.
SACRAMENTO, March 21 – Each of the Memphis starters put up double figures in a losing effort to the Sacramento Kings.
In the end, it did not make a difference as the King’s Marcus Thornton put up 31 points and center DeMarcus Cousins threw in 23 for good measure to lead them to a 119-100 victory.
The young team is evolving and put together their third consecutive win.

DeMarcus Cousins delivered a major hand job (dunk)
OK, the Kings announcer initially says 'hammer job' but why does he say of DeMarcus Cousins' dunk on Marc Gasol at the :22 mark that it was also a 'hand job?'

Kings 119, Grizzlies 110
Sacramento Kings coach Keith Smart took off his blue jacket and tossed it to DeMarcus Cousins. The fouled-out forward played coach for the final minute, and everybody on the bench enjoyed a laugh.
That wasn't the only rare sight in Sacramento this season.
Marcus Thornton scored 31 points, Cousins had 23 points and five rebounds and the Kings held off the Memphis Grizzlies 119...
