Despite their struggles this season, the Suns have been pretty fortunate in regards to injuries so far. That changed a bit today when it was revealed by AZ Central’s Paul Coro that Goran Dragic cut his foot in an accident at the point guard’s home.

Dragic suffered the cut near his big left toe when he stepped on a broken piece of glass. He was then rushed to the emergency room where the injury acquired him to have nine stitches. He will miss the remaining three games on this homestand and the training staff will look at the injury after the team heads on the road to see when exactly he can come back.

With Dragic out, Zabian Dowdell will slide into backing up Steve Nash. Dowdell was signed to his second 10-day contract just a couple of days back. Grant Hill and Jared Dudley will see time at the point as well.
