Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade told reporters – including Michael Wallace of ESPN – that he won’t rule out missing the remainder of the regular season in an effort to recover from a right knee injury prior to the start of the playoffs."The most important thing is to be healthy," Wade said Sunday, addressing the media for the first time since he last played March 29. "So when I feel it, then I'll get back on the court. Obviously, I want to play. But I have to make sure that I'm right. You have to get healthy."LeBron James and Chris Bosh are also dealing with nagging injuries, but Wade’s knee ailment is considered to be more serious. As the regular season wraps up, coach Erik Spoelstra considers all three of his stars as day-to-day, adding that Wade has been held back in his recovery due to consistent swelling in his injured knee.Wade initially sustained the injury on March 6 when he banged knees with an opposing player. He’s aggravated the injury since then, but was able to play through the pain for the next few weeks. He missed a few sporadic games during the end of the month, but he now hasn’t suited up for Miami since March 29.Follow @hoopsinjurynews!function(d,s,id){var js,fjs=d.getElementsByTagName(s)[0];if(!d.getElementById(id)){js=d.createElement(s);js.id=id;js.src="http://www.nbainjurynews.com//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js";fjs.parentNode.insertBefore(js,fjs);}}(document,"script","twitter-wjs");

Dwyane Wade May Not Play Again Until the Playoffs

D Wade has settled in nicely, into his Memphis Bleek role, to LeBron’s Jay-Z, but his contributions are still needed for the Heat to win back to back titles. This is what Wade tried to get across in his...

Heat thump Bucks without Wade, Bosh

Dwyane Wade was hurt, Chris Bosh was sick, the Miami Heat missed 15 consecutive 3-point attempts and allowed the Milwaukee Bucks to score 22 points off turnovers. And the Heat won handily anyway. So if this was a potential first-round Eastern Conference playoff preview, the Bucks probably didn't enjoy much of what they saw on Tuesday night. LeBron James scored 28 points in...
