Miami guard Eddie House will return to the Heat after exercising his contract option for next season. House turned down the chance to become a free agent and will earn $1.4 million next year. House, 33, averaged 6.5 points in 56 games for the Heat last season. He is an 11-year NBA veteran. The Heat currently have nine players under contract for 2010-11.
