According to Sherrod Blakely from Comcast Sports Net, Celtics rookie E'Twaun Moore has moved ahead of Avery Bradley in Doc's rotation, so look for Moore to get Bradley's minutes in our upcoming games. With Pierce coming back and Pietrus joining the team soon, Pavlovic might get sent back to shooting guard so Moore might see very limited minutes. But most of Celtics nation is eager to see what E'Twaun can do, and I think Doc's decision to move him up in the pecking order is a good one since Bradley hasn't been very productive the past few games.

Will the Improved Play of Rajon Rondo Be Enough to Carry the Celtics?

How old is too old? The Boston Celtics could very well answer that question for us this season.  Since the Celtics won the title in 2008, there has always been talk of the current season being the Big Three’s “last chance.”  Experts said it two years ago when Boston lost in the NBA Finals.  They also said it last season and many are going with it again this year.  With...

Undefeated Hornets top winless Celtics

Jarrett Jack had 21 points and nine assists in his regular-season debut, and New Orleans dominated in its home opener, beating the winless Boston Celtics 97-78 on Wednesday night. The Celtics are 0-3 for the first time since 2006-07, the season before they traded to bring Kevin Garnett and Ray Allen in to help star Paul Pierce. Pierce has yet to play this season because of a bruised...

Pistons-Celtics Preview

The Boston Celtics continue to flounder without Paul Pierce. The Celtics will be trying to avoid their worst start in 42 years Friday night in their home opener against the Detroit Pistons in a matchup of winless teams. Boston (0-3) last dropped its first four games in the 1969-70 season. There's no word on a possible return for Pierce, who is out with a bone bruise in his...

Boston Celtics star Kevin Garnett is about to become a limited shareholder in the American-owned Roma soccer club. Roma confirmed to The Associated Press that Garnett accepted an offer from James Pallotta, one of the four Boston executives who closed a deal in August to become the first foreign majority owners of a Serie A club. Pallotta also is a minority owner of the Celtics...

Comments From the Other Side - Heat 12/27

As always, the comments are not quite as much fun when we lose, but there are some fun ones. It's interesting when the Heat fans are mentioning how many bad calls are going against the Celtics. That's when you know the officiating is REALLY bad. Enjoy today's comments in spite of the loss... Time to beat these Boston crumb-bums into the retirement home. We need...

Celtics Aim To Improve Offensive Rebounding

The Celtics have been one of the worst offensive rebounding teams in recent seasons.

Answering The Call: An Early Look Around The NBA

The NBA started, on Christmas, what was an unbelievable set of games. First game. Celtics, aging yet gaining BRANDON BASS? Rondo plays like he’s on fire. Ray Allen can still drop 3’s, and BRANDON BASS? WOW. They can still play. Just don’t watch them any time on a back to back. Which will be a lot. Jajuan Johnson and Etwaun Moore will have their hands full trying to sub in...
