Report: Cavs Players Growing More Frustrated With Dion Waiters

I once envisioned Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters destroying opposing back courts for the next 10 years.  Sadly, I’m not sure these two will be teammates two more months, let alone a few years. According to  Jason Lloyd of the Akron Beacon Journal, Cavs players are tiring of Waiters act, and are growing more frustrated by the day. Players have quietly grumbled about Waiters...

Why Anthony Bennett’s Season Could Turn Around Any Day

Anthony Bennett’s rookie season has been beyond a disaster. Not only having the worst  rookie season in the history of number one picks, he’s having as bad a season as any rookie ever has. Still, the sample of rookies who’ve had to deal with a shoulder surgery, conditioning issues and the pressure of being a number one pick, makes most comparisons non-direct. With Bennett...

Did Jack Nicholson tell Mike Brown to move on sidelines?

There are few celebrity NBA fans more known that actor Jack Nicholson and during last night’s Cleveland Cavaliers/Los Angeles Lakers game, he was not too pleased with former Lakers head man/current Cavs head coach Mike Brown. With time running down in the second quarter of play, Brown can be seen obstructing Jack’s view for a quick second. Watch as Jack ushers Mike to move out...

Varejao an improvement over Bynum at center

Since Andrew Bynum was dispatched to points unknown on Dec. 28, Anderson Varejao has emerged as the starting center. He is not setting the world on fire, but his numbers are much better than his predecessor. Bynum is 26 years old, but has the knees of a player who’s 50. He has little lateral movement, which restricts his ability to rebound and defend. Of course, that’s Varejao’s...

Blazers up next for Cavaliers

With a four-game road trip against some of their top Western Conference competition looming, the Portland Trail Blazers will have to be careful not to look past their next opponent. The way the new-look Cleveland Cavaliers have played lately, that would be a huge mistake. The Trail Blazers seek a third straight win Wednesday night when they face the Cavaliers in their final home...

Cavaliers vs. Lakers Behind The Boxscore: Deng, Dion, and Delly, but not much D

I blocked it out of my memory, but I was reminded that the Cavaliers lost to the Kings on Sunday night by 44 points. After that effort, a sight for sore eyes in the depleted Los Angeles Lakers showed up next on the schedule in this 5-game West Coast swing. But, it was anybody’s guess if the Cavaliers would have enough focus or defensive effort to captialize. Well, it was a split...

Deng nabbed it, and Cavaliers steal close one in LA

Tons of random stuff on the Cavaliers' 120-118 victory over the Lakers in Los Angeles on Tuesday night: * This was a big one, because the Cavs can officially forget about Sunday's 44-point loss at Sacramento. Instead, they can focus on the fact they've won three of four, including two of three on their five-game swing through the Western Conference. They're also 2...

Blazers best Cavaliers, 108-96 for 3rd straight

PORTLAND, Ore. (AP) -- LaMarcus Aldridge had 32 points and 18 rebounds, scoring nine straight points that pulled Portland in front in the final four minutes, and the Trail Blazers beat the Cleveland Cavaliers 108-96 on Wednesday night. Damian Lillard added 28 points for the Blazers, who won their third straight. Luol Deng had 25 points for the Cavaliers, who were playing the second...

VIDEO: Jodie Meeks hits high-arcing floater from behind the backboard

Hey, Jodie Meeks, there could be a job for you at the circus after your NBA playing days are over. During tonight’s game versus the Cleveland Cavaliers, Meeks hit a bunch of three-pointers yet he also attacked the rim, too. On this play, Meeks put in a circus shot as he felt the contact while heading out of bounds, heard the whistle and then threw the ball up high over the back...

Deng's 27 points lead Cavaliers to 120-118 victory over Lakers

Forget that 30-minute limit on Luol Deng. With the Cavaliers playing what many viewed as a must-win game between two struggling teams, Deng played 38 minutes and scored 27 points, making a career-best 5 of 5 3-pointers, to lead the Cavs to a 120-118 victory over the Lakers on Tuesday night in Mike Brown's first visit to the Staples Center since the Lakers fired him five games...

The Bulls Will Prosper Following Deng’s Departure

The Chicago Bulls lost one of their best players this past Monday when they traded 2 time All-star Luol Deng to the Cleveland Cavaliers. In return the Bulls received a disgruntled Andrew Bynum and future draft picks. After waiving Bynum the next day, several fans across the league thought the Bulls would officially attempt to […]The post The Bulls Will Prosper Following Deng...
