Numerous reports appear to indicate that Celtics director of basketball operations Danny Ainge "likely" will buy out Paul Pierce’s $15 million contract for next year.
With one little paragraph in his column, Bob Finnan has set off another round of rumors that Paul Pierce will be bought out by the Celtics. First Finnan voiced his speculation and I've seen at least 5 other articles quotes that have run with it and are reporting that Pierce is going to be bought out.

Terrence Williams has spoken to Danny Ainge and Doc Rivers since he was arrested for brandishing a gun, and he believes that he remains part of the Boston Celtics' future.
"We talked about the future, and I was part of that. Everything else, is between us," Williams said.
