DeAndre Liggins, who was officially released by the Thunder on Friday, was charged with seven felonies, including domestic abuse, kidnapping and assault and battery, according to The Oklahoman. The charges were filed in Oklahoma City District Court. Marcus Rogers was charged as a co-defendant on a kidnapping count and one count of assault and battery, The Oklahoman said. The Oklahoman went on to say there was an argument between Liggins, 24, and his girlfriend Jasmine Horton at the home of Liggins in Oklahoma City. Liggins allegedly pulled her out of bed by her hair, threw her to the ground and punched her in the head. Liggins appeared in 39 games last season for the Thunder. The team had an option on him for the upcoming season, but after he was arrested it seemed like a long shot that Liggins would return. The move leaves the Thunder with Russell Westbrook, Reggie Jackson, Thabo Sefolosha and Derek Fisher at guard. Liggins averaged 7 minutes per game last season and 1.5 points and 1.4 rebounds per game. Follow Andrew Gilman on Twitter: @andrewgilmanOK
