Free-agent forward Andrei Kirilenko says he may opt to play in Europe if the NBA lockout threatens the upcoming season.In an interview with a Russian state-owned news agency, Kirilenko says his status as a free agent makes it easier for him to commit to playing for a European team when the league's owners and players do agree on a new collective bargaining agreement.The long-time Utah Jazz star went on to say that his stay overseas may last beyond the coming season."I'm in a better position (than) the other players who have valid contracts with NBA teams," he said. "If the lockout ends they will have to return to their teams.
