With the previous busy day being had in Portland today and their Coach firing (MCMillan), and two trades, (Marcus Camby and Gerald Wallace) being shipped out what nobody realized is that there are now extra bodies in RIP City.
Enter Mehmet Okur, Shawne Williams, Hasheem Thabeet and Jonny Flynn.
Portland's roster is sitting at 17 players. Two guys need to be released so that Portland is at the maximum of 15 players.

Oden was limited to just 82 games by injuries since the Blazers took him over Kevin Durant with the first selection in the 2007 draft. He recently underwent his third microfracture knee surgery, the second on his left to go with one on the right.

Greg Oden’s time with the Blazers has come to an end after five years. The Blazers are waiving Oden to make room for their trade acquisitions. Along with Oden, Chris Johnson was waived also.

Portland also requested waivers on centers Greg Oden and Chris Johnson today.
Marcus Camby was slightly frustrated after watching Raymond Felton commit yet another turnover. In great tackling form he took out his frustrations on poor Landry Fields. Being down by 30 points early in the third probably didn’t make matters any better.
