The Atlanta Hawks haven’t done much swiping right thus far this season. One might even say the team has failed in shooting its shot more often than others.

None of this matters for a couple that met during Hawks "Tinder Night."

Ben McCleskey and Avery Armstrong had their first date back in 2015 during the Hawks “Swipe Right Night.” Now, three years later, the couple is getting hitched. Not only that, the franchise is paying for their wedding service.

“Not in my wildest dreams did I think this would happen,” said Atlanta Hawks chief executive officer Steve Koonin, via ESPN.

What an amazing Valentine’s Day surprise right here. Avery can now get the wedding of her dreams, and Ben doesn’t have to worry about putting himself in debt while eating Top Ramen for it to happen.

“Ben and I are beyond thankful for everything that the Atlanta Hawks have done for us,” Armstrong said, via the Hawks’ official website. “Philips Arena is where it all began and it just seems fitting that the next big milestone in our lives together happens there. The stylists at David’s Bridal helped me find the dress of my dreams! It made this entire experience even better.”

Love is in the air, and it’s a grand thing. To everyone out there looking to swipe right on Tinder, continue to use it responsibly.

Don’t shoot your shot from halfcourt thinking you are Stephen Curry. Not everyone nets that prayer. But for this lovely couple, it sure looks like everything worked out.

Well done, indeed.
