Hello Celtics-Nation. It’s been a while…

Dear Celtics’ fans, It’s been about a year since I’ve hit the pen to the paper, quite the turbulent year to say the least. Some of you reading this know all that I’ve been through in the last year, some of you don’t, but that’s not the point here. I think what I found most amazing through all of the ups and downs of the last year was really taking the time to sit back and recognize what makes sports so special to us all. Having been a sports fan growing up my entire life, I firmly believe I took for granted how great I had it. The saying you don’t know what you’ve got ’till its gone certainly rings true. For the first time in recent memory, this is the first year I wasn’t able to attend a single Celtics game. I sat painfully through all 82 plus the playoffs from the confines of my apartment, often screaming at the TV or having to go for a walk to get away from the pressure of the game.
