Hey Yard Barkers!

Hey! My name is James Twitchell most of my friends call me Twitch. I run college Track for Indiana State University Sycamores (Most famous alum would be Larry Bird). I am currently embarking if you will on my final year of eligability at Indiana State. I run 800 meters indoor and 400 hurdles outdoor. My good friend Greg Oden currently plays for the Portland Trailblazers in the NBA has a blog on here and he is a verified athlete so my goal is to become varified! Yardbarker please verify me! I have known Greg for several years. Greg played on the National Runner-up Ohio State Bucks in 2007. On January 27, 2007 his life and mine would be turned upside down with the passing of our best friend Travis James Smith who played college golf at Ball State Univiersisty in Muncie Indiana (Most famous alum David Letterman). Greg has blogged about this event on a couple different occasions. Travis grew up 2 houses down from me and was my best friend since I was 7 years old. He would have played on the PGA Tour someday and would have had his own blog! I truly miss Travis every day, I remain very close to his parents and sister. They are like a second family to me! I look forward to having a few of my college teamates join Yardbarker. I just think division 1 college athletes should get Varifyed status. I may never be on ESPN or may never make it to nationals but Im respectable....
