PHOENIX -- By the end of his fast break through free agency, Grant Hill learned all that Twitters is not gold ... or entirely accurate.
During this week's salvo of tweets and full-blown newspaper reports, the 39-year-old small forward was tagged as being thiiiis close to accepting an offer to play for the New York Knicks.
"If there was a pecking order," said Hill, who on Friday agreed to a one year contract worth 6.5 million to remain with Phoenix Suns, "they (the Knicks) weren't at the top."
Although he did admit the Knicks were "a very viable option," Hill scrolled through the list of reasons why he preferred staying with the Suns (over any other suitor) for a fifth consecutive season. The roll call included his relationship with owner Robert Sarver, franchise management, coaches, training staff, teammates and fans.
