Mr. Jeff Green just signed a pretty nice contract, reportedly four years for around $36 million. That's a lot of money, especially for someone who will be the seventh man (sixth man, that's Jason Terry's job). Still, you'd expect that Green is going to get some significant playing time relieving both Paul Piece and Brandon Bass next season and beyond. Why else would they give him such a big contract? Other than the fact that Ainge really had to hold onto him or he literally would've given up Perkins for nothing. Green's best season in the NBA came in his sophomore year and the fist season of the Oklahoma City Thunder, the 2008-09 season. That year saw him shoot 44.6% from the field, 38.9% from three and average 16.5 points per game. The worst stretch of his career? Two seasons ago when he came to Boston. He averaged only about 9.8 points per game, shot 29.6% from three but did shoot 48.5% from the field. Now obviously he had a lesser role when he came to Boston. Though that won't...
