16 years ago today, the Boston Celtics' Reggie Lewis died of a heart attack at the age of 27. For those of you who never had the opportunity to see him play, you missed out on a player who was well on his way to being an NBA superstar and Celtic legend. To compare his game to anyone else would be an injustice to him. He was, and still is, my favorite player ever. And as much as I heart Paul Pierce, Pierce's game was at least a notch below Lewis', in my opinion. That is how good he was. And if you need a glimpse of that, check out this video, where he blocks Michael Jordan's shot 4 times in the same game. Had his life not ended in tragedy, the Celtics may have been hanging their 19th or 20th banner last year.
