Celtics Locker:
The Celtics really laid an egg last night as they only scored 25 points in the first half. The Celtics only shot 39.4% from the floor last night and they were outrebounded 47-36, which helped do them in. Ray Allen led the way for the Celtics in this game with 23 points and 3 rebounds. Kevin Garnett (12 points, 6 rebounds, 1 assist and 1 blocked shot) and Rajon Rondo (11 points, 5 rebounds, 9 assists and 3 steals) also had solid games for the Celtics last night. Paul Pierce only shot 3 of 17 from the floor in this game, but he still finished up with 10 points, 7 rebounds, 3 assists and 1 steal. The Celtics are now 4-4 on the season.

Ray Allen expected to play tonight against Indiana
No surprise here. Allen will be needed more tonight than he would have on Wednesday against New Jersey. Hopefully his sick day didn't cool off his shooting touch at all. The man's been a machine all year long and the Celtics could really use another off-the-charts performance from him tonight.

Returning to the lineup after missing one game due to flu-like symptoms, Ray Allen provided the only consistent offense for the C's. Once again, Ray shot the ball amazingly well. Check out the highlights below of Ray's performance.

Celtics Live Blog: Ray Allen Questionable for Friday's Matchup With Pacers
8:45 a.m.: The Celtics could be without their top long-range shooter again Friday, with shooting guard Ray Allen questionable against the Indiana Pacers. Pacers Roll In Boston with 87-74 Victory
After getting destroyed in Miami, the Pacers were looking to bounce back in Boston at the Garden as they face the Celtics. But could they actually win against Rondo, Pierce, Garnett, and Allen? Indiana hasn’t won in Boston since the Big Three formed in 2007.
But that wasn’t going to stop Indy, as they snapped the C’s four-game win-streak and their own streak of...

Recap: Pacers dominate the glass, win going away
Â
I'll start by quoting reader Perry Manno in the comments of our game preview:
Winning the battle of the glass is at a premium tonight. Indy leads the league in second chance opportunities. Psycho T, West and Hibbert averaging 3.5 OR/night. When PP crashes the boards we win, so let's keep that pattern intact
The Celtics got dominated on the boards tonight.Â...
Enemy Chatter: Pacers fans long for Jermaine O'Neal?
I often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics after playing the Celtics. Here's a dose of 'enemy chatter' from Indiana.
Jermaine O'Neal had a big night early, blocking everything that came into the paint, taking multiple offensive fouls, and crashing the boards. It was all every Pacer fan could do but not long...
